MULTI RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENTS

With a passion for enhancing the environment we live in, the residential work of Project Works Design is well-considered and incorporates simple design solutions to create residential development that are free of un-necessary complexity. We believe in sustainable design which is an integral component of successful contemporary design. Project Works Design also places a major emphasis on the spatial planning, structural resolution, financial and material aspects associated with the successful design of a multi-residential development.

AGED CARE FACILITIES

Project Works Design specialise in aged care facility design and are passionate about creating caring community environments devoted to improving outcomes for the elderly living in aged care and retirement facilities. Each aged care project we undertake we design with the aim of empowering residents and create environments that provide a high level of choice and dignity for the residents. While Project Works Design brings a combination of experience and innovation to the design of an aged care facility we acknowledge that the client is the one who manages the facility and has intimate knowledge of how the facility needs to operate on a day to day basis.

CHILDCARE CENTRES

Project Works Design specialises in the design of childcare facilities throughout Sydney, Central Coast and all areas of NSW. Project Works Design has been Accredited for the Certification of Childcare Centres since 2004 and have provided certification for more than 20 childcare facilities and designed numerous new childcare centres.

The Education and Care Services National Regulation came into effect in on the 1st of January 2012 and is the governing document for the design and operation of a childcare facility. The Education and Care Services National Regulation supersedes all other state based regulations which previously determined the design of a facility. So if you are planning to build a new Childcare Facility or selling an existing Childcare Facility, Project Works Design has the qualifications and experience to assist in a timely and efficient manner.

PLACES OF PUBLIC ASSEMBLY

The design of a place of public assembly such as a theatre, cinema, church or other auditorium needs to take into account a vast number of design elements such as spatial planning of the numerous areas required such as entry foyers, stage, stage wings and fly, rehearsal spaces, concessions, amenities etc. Sight lines, accessibility, acoustical requirements, patron comfort, materials and finishes all need to be considered and incorporated into the successful design of a public assembly building. Project Works Design has been involved in the design of a number of public assembly buildings including churches and auditoriums.

RETAIL PROJECTS

Retail design is as much about the experience as it is about the products being sold. Customers expect stimulation and a sense of community as part of their shopping experience which provides a challenge for retail designers and developers to achieve. Project Works Design understands retail and showroom design and the importance of accessibility, the optimisation of floor space, signage and retail site exposure. Our design experience ranges from small retail tenancies, fast food outlets and motor vehicle showrooms to large scale home-maker centres and other bulky goods developments

Zenith Tuggerah involved the full design, documentation and approvals management for a 3 storey commercial building providing premium office space in the Tuggerah Business Park.

Stage 1 involved the construction of a 16 Bed extension to an existing Residential Aged Care Facility.

VWT ProjectMulgoa Rd Penrith NSW

The VWT Project (Vertical Wind Tunnel) is the first indoor skydiving facilities to be constructed in Australia. Project Works Design was engage by the ISA Group to provide design development, approvals documentation, construction documentation as well as interior design and documentation.

St Ezekiel Moreno Nursing Home 77-79 Cheltenham Rd Croydon NSWProject Cost $1.2 million

This project involved the design of a new Nursing Staff Room, Nursing Staff Rest Room, Staff WC, Nunn’s Staff Room, Nunn’s Rest Room, Prayer Room, Palliative Care Room and renovations to the Holding Room, Laundry and Store Room.

One River Road1 River Rd Wyong NSW

Project Budget $5.4 million

One River Road involved the concept deign of a 5 level commercial office building. The building was designed to contain retail premises at the ground

floor level commercial office space on levels 2, 3 & 4 and a restaurant and open space on level 5.

Stage 2 (Blocks A and E)Project Cost $3.5 million

Stage 2 involved renovations and extensions to the Administration Building (Block A) and the addition of a new 20 bed Residential Agedcare extension

(Block E) and included a new Dining Room, Serving Kitchen, Treatment Room and Reading Room.

Project Works Design was engaged by Central Coast Living Options to provide architectural design and documentation services for a six unit adaptable housing development to accommodate some of their clients with disabilities.

Project Budget $1.3 million

Gordon Rd Townhouses is a six unit development consisting of 2 x 3 bedroom units with study and 4

x 2 bedroom units with study.

Multi Residential

Nash Street BardiaProject Budget $825,000

Project Works Design was engaged by the Monarch Investments group to provide design services for a proposed childcare centre in their new residential subdivision in Bardia NSW.

Jubilee Childcare Centre Ferntree Gully Rd, Knoxfield, VICProject Budget: $1.25 million.

Project Works Design has been engaged to design a childcare centre to cater for 95 places. The client required that the centre not only included the optimum child education design strategies but also incorporated sustainable building design features.

23 Bellamy St Pennant Hills NSWProject Budget $1.4 million

Project Works Design was engaged to design a 66 place childcare centre in the Hills District of Sydney.

The design incorporated elements that support early childhood learning philosophies that provide

educationally appropriate and stimulating programs to assist in the development of the whole child.

Project Works Design was engaged to provide concept interior design services for a café with indoor and outdoor seating in the Wyong Village Central Shopping Centre.

The Café is located within the Vietnam Veterans Keith Payne VC Hostel and caters for the needs of the residents and their families. It provides a venue where families can go and visit with their loved ones who reside in the aged care facility in a relaxed and friendly environment.

The Edge Café - Tuggerah, NSWProject Budget $96,000.00

Project Works Design was engaged to provide interior design services for the fit out of a new

licensed café located with Zenith Tuggerah. The client required that the café design complimented

the design of the buildings entry foyer while maintaining a distinct character of its own.

Interior Design The Vietnam Veterans Keith Payne VC Hostel has engaged Graham Mann from Project Works Design to provide building design and contract administration services for a number of our construction projects including our Kitchen Refurbishment, Block D Addition, Café Fit-out, New Dining Room, Block E Addition and Block A refurbishment.
