“Who Moved My Cheese?”•Change is inevitable, we all react
differently to the change.
•This book by Dr. Spencer helps us understand why we feel the way we feel.
•The term cheese is used as what they desire the most.
CharactersTwo mice•Sniff•Scurry
Two small people the size of mice•Hem •Haw
Story-line• All four characters live in a maze. Each day they run
the maze to find cheese.
• One day they find cheese station C where there is a lot of Cheese.
• Everyday they would go to the cheese station and eat the cheese.
• The mice would check the cheese everyday and saw that cheese was reducing. So they were ready to go into the maze and find new cheese.
Cont’• The little people didn’t notice the decrease of
cheese and became comfortable with cheese station C.
• When the cheese finished the mice went out to the maze and found Cheese Station N.
• Little people on the other hand were not able to accept the fact that cheese was gone and they mourned over it while saying “who moved my cheese” .
• Eventually Haw realized that being sad would mot bring the cheese back, He proposed to Hem that “lets go into the maze and find new cheese”. But Hem refused.
• Haw went out into the maze to find new cheese though there were many difficulties he learnt that changing is important to survive.
• Haw discovers Cheese Station N where there was a lot of cheese. And he wished that his friend Hem was with him.
My Review•This book is inspiring and influential for
those who can change with the changing time and adjust accordingly, because nothing lasts forever.
•Look forward to something new and better.
•Any change is good if we have a good attitude towards it.
