Y.. son of William and Mary (Town) Horton, and died at Esopus, N V ; married (ad) John jamoe Snyder, a surveyor, of Rochester, Ulster Co.. N. Y.; and died at Rochester, 7 or 9 March 1869. He still lived at Rochester in 1873. II J o r o m l a h Morritt, b. in Pine Bush district, Rochester, Ulster Co., N V , 16 O c t 1808; a farmer; married Mary Ann Norton, d a a f William and Mary (Town) Horton. He was living at Elmore's Comers, N. Y., in 1873. III Daniol Morritt, b. at Rochester. Ulster Co., N. Y., 1 Jan. 1810; a caiman; married at Roscndalc Plains, N. Y., 31 D e c 1829, in Friends' . Hannah Tiiiaon, wh.. was bom at Roscndalc Plains, 20 Feb. 1807, dau. of Isaiah and Phebe (Coutant) Tilison. They dwelt at Roscndalc Plains for one year; and then moved to New York City, where he died, 1 Jan. 1835, and was buried in Houston Street Cemetery. She was married (2d), 26 Sept 1852, in her father's house at Roscndalc Plains, by James A. I "elladorc; and was living at Roscndalc Plains in Jan. :5-

B e t h a n y Morritt, b. at "the Clove, in Rochester, Ulster Co., N V., 24 July 1813; married in her father's house at Roscndalc Plains, N \ .17 As, 1830, by Thomas Butler, to laalah Tlllaon, a farmer, son of John and Mary (Crousc) Tilison, of Roscndalc Plains, where he was bom 18 July 1805. They lived for four years on a farm adjoining her father's; two years in New York City; four years again at Roscndalc Plains; one year at Shelby. N. Y ; two yean B Alabama Centre, N. V.; one year at X East Bloomficld, N. Y.; four years at Bristol, N. Y., where they joined the Baptist Church; moved to Michigan in 184S, living one year in Oakland ,Co., and three years in Pennington : and then settled on a farm of eighty acres, in Antrim, where he died 30 March 1863. He was buried at Burns, Michigan. Sli. was. living at Oak Grove, Mich., in June 1875.

He lived mostly at New York from 1825 to i860; afterward at Dover. X j ; and finally at Boonton, N. J., where he was proprietor of the United States Hotel. Rankin, rector of Peter's Church at Morristown, N. J., to Aaron Jackson Edwards, a jeweller, son of Reuben Budd and Maria (Mockridgc) Edwards, of Newark, N. J., where he was bom 4 March 1829.
