Wednesday was an incredible day. The group
went to NHC where they sang to the
residents. Every one thoroughly enjoyed the
singing. Fellowship was wonderful. Don't
forget to sign up for camp June 12th, three
already have. We are so excited to get going
this year! The theme is "YOU'RE NOT
ALONE". Schedule is done. Shirt design is
done, color picked. Just waiting on you!
Also don't forget Sky High on April 22. Be
sure to sign up in the lobby before April 18
to reserve your spot! We will meet at the
church building Friday, April 22, 6:00pm,
for pizza and then travel to Sky High and
jump 8:00 to 11:00pm. The cost is $15 plus
money for socks and snacks. See Poppa
Todd with questions.

Thank You
We want to thank all who sent cards, brought food
and especially the prayers for us.
George and Ouida Polk
To each one that sent me a birthday card, I want to
thank each of you. That was so nice of you to do
that. I really enjoyed them. I can’t thank you
enough. I won’t ever forget how great you are.
May God bless each of you. Thanks again.

Jail News
It was an amazing time at jail last week. Captain Felts
allowed Tom & Carol Todd and Carl & Connie Wood
to be in charge of showing a movie. Three pods of
women were allowed to come. We showed the movie
War Room and had popcorn & water. Everyone
behaved and our first try was a success. Charlene
Griffin's High Set (GED) class is doing great. Pierre
Griffin teaches a Bible class on Tuesday evenings.
Carol Todd teaches parenting class and has a Bible
study during the day on Tuesday. Charlene and Carol
also assist Ms Ida Westerman with an anger
management class on Tuesday afternoon. Doug Couch
and Buddy Driver teach from Nashville School of
Preaching to 4 young men. We are really making a
difference in the lives of those we mentor. The young
lady that Carol was helping has been drug free for the 8
months she has been out, works a steady job and lives
on her own. Tom has helped a young man, Ian Stark,
who just graduated his drug rehab, and we are so proud
of both of them. Think about helping, we need you.
Bible studies, GED teachers (you don't have to be a
teacher), a re-entry teacher, anyone that has a drug
and/or alcohol background to teach programs of either
one. Believe me you will be blessed.
