Cannon’s Powerflue has some unique installation and operation advantages.Unlike standard gas log heaters, the Powerflue is terminated horizontally from the rear of the unit, eliminating the needfor the flue to run up through the wall and protrude above the roofline. This means you can place the heater on anyexternal wall, even in an apartment.

Plus it is a room-sealed appliance, meaning all air for combustion is taken from outside, not from within your room. Thecombustion by-products are then vented externally via a fan in the flue ensuring that your home stays clean and fresh.

1. Choose your desired location andconstruct the framework that willenclose the heater according toyour fluing requirements. Be sure to allow for the requiredclearances between the heatercabinet and combustible surfaces.

2. Attach the mock fireplace kit tothe heater as per the instructions.

Position the heater into theframework then install the flue.

3. Finish with plasterboard (or timberpanelling) to enclose the framework,maintaining appropriate clearances.

Console kits.

The console kit is a decorative coverthat fits over the rear of the heaterto allow installation against anexisting wall without building a mockwall or installing a mantle piece.

Spacer kit.

When installing into a shallowfireplace cavity the 50mm spacer kithelps to provide the minimum50mm clearance at the rear bybringing the heater forward.

Surround kit.

This decorative surround allows theheater to be installed into existingfireplaces where the fireplaceopening is wider than the heaterheight and/or width.

So whether you are updating anexisting gas heater, installing into a open fireplace, or placing a heater near an external wall the Cannon accessory kitswill allow you to efficiently create the finished look.

Creating the look of a fireplace is simple with Cannon.The Mock Fireplace kit is designed specifically for homes that do not have an existing masonry fireplace. Using the kit,your In-built heater can be easily and safely installed into a combustible wall.

Whether fluing through the wall cavity, the ceiling plaster or directly out an external wall, to conceal the heater cabinetand/or flue, simply construct a purpose built timber or plasterboard enclosure.
