CLIFFORD CHANCE MENTORING AND INSIGHT PROGRAMME FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED STUDENTS IN YEAR 12 OR 13We are offering a unique opportunity for visually impaired students to secure a place on a Clifford Chance mentoring programme. This programme has been designed by Fadeia Hossain who is one of our lawyers and is visually impaired – she will mentor you alongside our Graduate Recruitment Manager, Jackie Trench.

As part of the programme you will receive:

• Continued support and contact from your mentors up until you start university

• A reserved space on our coveted London open days OR a place on our PRIME scheme (if you meet the criteria)

The mentoring will take place mainly online, via telephone or email. If you are required to travel to London then reasonable expenses will be covered.

In order to be considered for this programme you need to be registered as visually impaired and be in year 12 or 13 (or equivalent) at any school in the UK.

An interest in a legal career would be beneficial for you to get the most from the mentoring although this is not essential.

Apply with your CV and covering letter by email to [email protected].

Application Deadline – 31 July 2019

Fadeia Hossian started her legal career with Clifford Chance as a Trainee Solicitor in February 2015. She is currently practising as a Financial Regulation Lawyer. Before joining Clifford Chance, and during her educational journey, she endured numerous challenges and hurdles which she has been able to overcome. She would like to use her experience and the accumulative knowledge

that she gained to inspire, help and guide visually impaired students to enable them to have a smoother journey toward attaining their dream job.

She believes that “if we have the right level and determination, we can achieve our dream as nothing is impossible!”.
