Competitor). A Custom 2’ Trophy for each RUNNER –UP. All additional Wins will receive a Special Custom Medal- We offer professional judges certified by AKANA . This event is well organized with fair judging, great

competition and superb awards. This will be a super-organized Family FUN Event. It is open to all martial art students of all ages and ability levels and styles to display your Martial Arts Skills.

GROUP 2-MICHELANGELO-AGES-8-10 : 9:30-10:30 (KATA/SPARRING)

GROUP 3-RAPHAEL-AGES-11-12 : 10:30-12:00(KATA/SPARRING)

Tournament Sparring & Kata Rules Competitor will be paired with a student nearest their own rank, size and ability.

(Safety Equipment Required-NO EXCEPTIONS—HEAD(W FACE MASK) HANDS,FEET, MOUTH PIECES,

(CHEST PROTECTORS ARE OPTIONAL -BUT RECOMMENDED)

Matches will be determined by the best 2 out of 3 one minute rounds

(3 POINTS MAX—WINNER 2 OUT OF 3 ROUNDS)

light facial contact Allowed—Judges will control level of contact

Double Eliminations-Point fighting - (best 2 out of 3 rounds)(3 POINTS MAX PER ROUND)

SPARRING POINTS WILL BE : PUNCH 1 POINT/ 1-KICK

***Continuous sparring-one 2 minute round( light control contact)

*** WINNER WILL BE DETERMINED BY AFFECTIVE FIGHTER-(3 JUDGES)

Single point eliminations sparring-first one to 3 point

Team Sparring will require 3 members per Team –Black Belt Team & Under Belt Team

Mixed Team sparring with male & females of Rank-Black Belt Team & Under Belt Team

ALL BLACK BELTS WILL BE ONE MINUTE ROUNDS FOR MIXED OR SINGLE MEMBER TEAMS

Kata Rules

Kata will be performed ONE COMPETITOR AT A TIME in groups by rank and age (MINIMUM 4-6 TO A GROUP)

EMPTY HAND KATA & WEAPONS KATA WILL BE JUDGED ONE AT A TIME

Different divisions per Rank and weapon

SCORING WILL BE SCORED FROM 1 TO 10-HIGhEST SCORE WINS
