King David

seems to have a chat with God as you and I do with our friends 1Chronicles 14:8-16

When the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over

all Israel, they went up in full force to search for him…….David

inquired of God: “Shall I go and attack the Philistines? Will you

deliver them into my hands?” The LORD answered him, “Go, I will

deliver them into your hands.” So David and his men went up to

Baal Perazim, and there he defeated them.

Once more the Philistines raided the valley; so David inquired of

God again, and God answered him, “Do not go directly after them,

but circle around them and attack them in front of the poplar trees.

As soon as you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the poplar

trees, move out to battle, because that will mean God has gone out

in front of you to strike the Philistine army.” So David did as God

commanded him, and they struck down the Philistine army, all the

way from Gibeon to Gezer.

What makes David Unique?Though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day (2 Corinthians 4:16 )

GOD HEARS

The Heaven stops to hear your prayers….there was silence in heaven for about half an hour…..an angel……was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne. The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand. Revelation 8:1-4

God adds his fire (power) to your prayersAnd when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people. Revelation 5:8

The answers are sent back to earthThen the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth
