And as the name suggests, we at Kalakriti give art a whole new definition. Our handicrafts and artifacts are designed by the local tribes of our state. These tribes and their artforms are losing their value because of the modern means of developing artifacts. This is where our organisation comes into play. We try to bring these forgotten art forms back to life and present them on a global platform. This will help in betterment of these tribes and their art because at Kalakriti 'art is what matters !!'

The word ‘Kalakriti’ is derived from two Hindi words: ‘kala’ (art form) and ‘kriti’ (creation).
