You may be thinking that the Chinese started eating chicken ever since the beginning of time but, if you thought so, you are wrong! The Chinese have been eating chicken since 5500 B.C. the chicken that they ate came from Thailand.

Does Peking duck sound familiar to you? Peking Duck is the most popular, and famous dish in Beijing. Peking Duck was invented 600 years ago during the Ming dynasty. Peking Duck was so special that it was only fed to the emperor until the recipe was smuggled out of the royal kitchen, and into the streets.

Death Soup………..Have you ever tried shark fin soup? If you haven’t, this might sound a bit

weird to you… The best shark fin soup would cost up to US $100.00, isn’t

that really expensive? Shark fin soup is a delicacy in China, that is why

the best shark fin soup costs up to $100.00. To make the soup, fishermen

catch a shark, then they cut the shark’s fin and throw it back into the

ocean to let it die. Even though I don’t like sharks, I still think it is cruel

when they do that to sharks.

HOW TO MAKE EGG DROP SOUP  WHAT YOU NEED4 cups of chicken broth1 teaspoon of cornstarch1 egg3 teaspoons of chopped green onions  HOW TO MAKE IT Boil the chicken broth on medium high heat. Then reduce the heat to simmer. Mix the cornstarch with a few drops of water, then stir it in the broth. Beat the egg in a bowl with a fork, pour it in the broth, then stir the soup until the egg looks cooked. Sprinkle the soup with the chopped onions.

Do you eat dim sum? Dim sum is a popular type of Chinese food discovered in Beijing.

Dim sum restaurants usually open at 11:00. Dim sum includes dumplings, huge

meatballs, spare ribs, and chicken feet. It is common to see good dim sum restaurants

crowded with people. You don’t always have to get the food from the carts, you could

also order from the menu.
