The Trees will all be displayed inside Pitlochry Church of Scotland over a period of two days. There will also be craft and produce stalls, together with a range of refreshments in the Tryst Hall.Trees won’t just be traditional green pine, or even tree shaped, there will be original, imaginative and individual trees!There will be a Christmas Carol Concert on the evening of 1 December to cele-brate the end of the Festival and reveal the winner of the Best Tree Competi-tion and details of the monies raised for our Charity Partners; The Children’s Hospice Association, Scotland (CHAS) and the work of our former Minister Malcolm Ramsay and his wife Cati with

Raised by his mother, Maggie in a Perthshire farm cottage, Archie grows up to be an aviation pioneer. Leaving school at 14 he spends WW1 thinning neeps. Passionate about flying and a man of vision with an eye to the future, he becomes a barnstormer and then a pilot with a fledgling Scottish airline. We hear of his heroic flying exploits, his experiences during WW2 and on into the jet age as a test pilot on the De Havilland Comet. In Archie’s life time the Wright Brothers made the first ever powered flight and the Apollo space programme was preparing to send men to the moon.
