What if it was our natural reaction

To LOVE OURSELVES

To love ourselves FIRST and foremost

By practicing to love ourselves daily we are empowering our physical, mental,

emotional, and spiritual health. If we are neglecting ourselves we are going to be

lacking in one or more of these areas. It is vital, to not just speak the words I LOVE MYSELF but to show ourselves with our

actions!

Most people don’t know what it means to love themselves.

How do we show ourselves with our actions?

How do we tell ourselves daily?

Loving Ourselves with our actions:

Be kind to yourself. Focus on your many positive qualities. Focus on your strengths, your abilities, and your admirable traits. Let go of harsh judgments, comparisons to others, and self-hatred.

Try loving and positive affirmations. Nourish your soul through a love-kindness meditation or spiritual practices that help you feel compassion and love toward yourself.

You may have to go within and seek solace in yourself to be comfortable in your own skin. Practice moments of alone time and be aware of how you treat yourself.

Appreciate your body it is what you have to live in for the rest of your life. Eat healthy, exercise a little bit, have good hygiene.

Frost yourself! Statistics show that when a woman wears a necklace, or other piece of jewelry with their outfit it BOOSTS their self confidence.

Page 10: Whats love got to do with it?

Write “I love myself” on your bathroom mirror with lip stick

Say out loud every morning before you leave your home “I love myself, I respect myself, I value myself”

Journal in the evenings before bed- make a list of the things you love about yourself, write down your short term and long term goals. Think of what kinds of activities or hobbies make you happy and write them down.

Put your lists into action. Make a weekly day for yourself. Do something you love, wear your favorite outfit, go to the salon and have your hair or nails done (if it makes you happy) read a book, go for a walk in the park, go have coffee with a friend.

Goals- Don’t settle for life as it is. You can do and be whatever you want. Start doing things to accomplish your goals, you will feel better and have more confidence.

Congratulate yourself, thank yourself, remember to tell yourself good job and don’t stress the little things. We aren’t perfect. We are perfectly imperfect.

When we speak and practice self love daily, we start to break barriers and then we are able to experience and do so many things, including having the true ability to love others , it is with loving yourself first that you are able to then love others.
