In 496 A.D., Pope Gelasius
changed Lupercalia from February 15th to
February 14th and selected St. Valentine
as the new patron saint of lovers in an
attempt to move away from the pagan
celebration of fertility.
Who is St. Valentine?
Roman: Lupercus, the HunterGreek: Pan
Semites: Called Pan “Baul” or “Baal”Baal was another name for NimrodNimrod (Genesis 10: 9)“He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.”
Nimrod’s other name: “Sanctuc” or “Santa”, meaning “Saint”
Why Are Hearts Associated With Valentine’s Day?
Pagan Romans acquired the symbol of the heart from the Babylonians.
In the Babylonian tongue the word for heart was "bal“
(Strong's Concordance Number H1168).
The heart - bal - was merely a symbol of Nimrod
the Baal - or Lord of the Babylonians!
