Windy Hill on the Campus has an Endowment Fund with the York County Community Foundation (YCCF).
Heritage Funds with YCCF are established by nonprofit organizations, and your gift will forever be
used for the organization's well-being as determined by the Windy Hill Board. Visit www.yccf.org to see how
YCCF is helping to create a vibrant York County.
How to make a gift:
• Through a gift of money via check to the endowment fund
• Through your will, by specifically naming the endowment fund
• Through a life insurance policy, by naming the endowment fund as beneficiary
• By a gift of real estate to the endowment fund
• By transferring appreciated assets (stocks, bonds, etc.) to the endowment fund
• Through a charitable gift annuity which will pay you income for life
For those that are fortunate enough to be over age 70 ½, you may have required minimum distributions that
have to be withdrawn each year from IRA's and 401(k)'s. In lieu of taking the distribution, paying the taxes, and
contributing after-tax dollars, you can transfer IRA/401(k) dollars directly to the endowment fund and potentially
avoid the tax consequences to you (consult your tax advisor regarding how this applies to your specific situation).

We are looking to start a golf class one time per week on Wednesdays for
individuals to learn golf basics and swing techniques. The classes will be
taught by local golf pro, Fred Shultz. Fred has been a member of the PGA
for over 40 years, and was instrumental in starting golf instruction at
various local golf courses. Classes will be held at Windy Hill and will be
$5.00 per class. Please place your name on the sign-up sheet if you are
interested. We are looking to start the classes in the new year.
Beginner Golf Lessons
We will be offering the 8 week iPad Trainings beginning on Thursday,
February 23 at 1 p.m. The classes are held each Thursday at either 9 a.m. or 1
p.m. You must commit to attending all eight-week sessions. There is no
charge for the classes, however, registration is required. This class is
designed, specifically, for users of the iPad and not other brands of tablets. If
you do not have an iPad, no worries, we have iPads for you to use. Even if you
have never worked on any type of electronic device or computer, you will be
able to learn how to use an iPad. Classes will be facilitated by Sara Smith and
the Spring Grove High School students will provide tutoring support.
Registration forms are available at the front desk.

DID YOU KNOW?

We are looking to start a golf class one time per week on Wednesdays for
individuals to learn golf basics and swing techniques. The classes will be
taught by local golf pro, Fred Shultz. Fred has been a member of the PGA
for over 40 years, and was instrumental in starting golf instruction at
various local golf courses. Classes will be held at Windy Hill and will be
$5.00 per class. Please place your name on the sign-up sheet if you are
interested. We are looking to start the classes in the new year.

charge for the classes, however, registration is required.
