AIR GUARD BBQ AND SMALL GOALFOOTBALL COMPETITION
Its that time of year again! The Trinidad and Tobago Air
Guard will be hosting its 7th Annual Bar-B-Que and Small
Goal Football Competition. Teams wishing to participate in
the football competition are asked to contact Pilot Officer,
Marlon St Louis at 461 9569.
Registration closes on July 12, 2013. There will be a registra-
tion fee of $500.00per team and teams are to comprise six (6)
players. Cash prizes are as follows; 1ST - $4,000.00
2ND - $2,500.00
3RD - $1,500.00

National Training Course, twelve (12) officials from Trinidad
and Tobago's national security forces were trained in effective
methods of armoury management.NDC RUN, WALK OR CRAWL
The 7K Run, Walk or Crawl is an initiative undertaken by the
National Drug Council (NDC) as it works towards the
eradication of illegal drugs in Trinidad and Tobago. For further

NATIONAL SECURITY OFFICERSFOUNDATION
On Tuesday 24th June, 2013 the National Security Officers
Foundation (NSOF) in collaboration with the Making Life
Important (MLI) initiative hosted a Medical Fair at the Cha-
guaramas Convention Center. Members of the public were able
to access free HIV, Blood, Sugar and Cholesterol testing. There
were also Dentists, Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Specialists and
General Medical Practitioners on hand to do check ups.
ARMOURY MANAGEMENT GRADUATION
Today, Friday 28th June, 2013 was the closing ceremony for
the First National Armoury Management Training Course
took place at the Police Academy, St. James Barracks.
The United Nations Regional Centre for Peace, Disarmament
and Development in Latin America and the Caribbean
(UNLIREC), in collaboration with the Government of Trinidad
and Tobago spearheaded this project.The UNLIREC Armoury Management Training Course is
geared towards creating a permanent and standardized regional
capacity to effectively manage, store, maintain and destroy
firearms in accordance with international standards. In this first
