Math: We will be taking the Chapter 7 test over adding and subtracting fractions and whole numbers on Friday, February 2nd. All online assignments will be due at this time. I will continue to have morning math on Tuesdays. I recommend all students attend when possible. Our next chapter will focus on multiplication of fractions and whole numbers.

Science with Mrs. Cervantes: We will be continuing our last investigation this week. Next up is Diversity of Life.

Language Arts: We are finishing our novel presentations this week. We will also be writing short essays on what makes our Catholic School special.

Religion: We are continuing our study of the Eucharist and celebrating our Catholic faith-filled school this Catholic Schools Week

Social Studies with Mrs. Talevich: We will continue our look at the American colonies. We will read about the French and Indian war and its effect on the colonies’ relationship with England. The we will begin our interactivte StoryPath unit: The Struggle for Independence in Colonial Boston.

Valentine’s Day: Looking ahead to February 14th, all students must bring Valentines for all classmates with first and last names written on the envelopes or cards. I will send home a class list this week and post one on the website.
