Motivational : Never Let Stress Ruin Your Performance

Being stressed during examinations is normal during examinations. You might feel tired under pressure, confused, worried that you won’t do well etc. Normal levels of stress can help you work efficiently, think faster and more effectively, and improve your performance. However, too much pressure and anxiety can make you feel blue. This may lead to lack of capability to concentrate and may also get you overly worried about your performance at the examination. Becoming aware of what causes your anxiety will help to reduce the stress. You should always know what exactly is the reason behind the excess of stress that you are suffering with. You might go through a feeling that other people are way ahead of you in terms of preparations or there are topics that still remained untouched or unclear. You might find yourself unable to stand the pace and the thought of not being able to perform to the best of your ability during the examination can actually scare the daylights out of you. People more often try to overcome this stress in many unhelpful ways. They may try to avoid their studies as it is causing them stress, may also tend to ignore a particular topic that they are not good at and may not revise the topics that they are already done with because they think that they will do badly anyway. The key to reduce exam anxiety is to make an early start on your revision. Once you are done with the topics in advance, you get enough of extra hours to revise everything that you have already done. Regular studies reduce the level of stress, as the number of topics to be done does not accumulate into blizzards, hence provide the aspirant with a better physical and mental health. If you do not revise the topics that you studied months back, you end up remembering nothing at all that can cause stress significant enough to make it difficult for you to focus on the task at hand. You should also engage yourself in self-care strategies during examination time by keeping an eye on your sleep, nutrition, exercise, and implementing a few relaxation routines. Take a nap and exercise before exams. It resets your brain, increases blood flow to the brain and prepares you for critical thinking and retention. Do not exercise for too long, you don’t have to waste that much of time, 15 minutes will be enough. Try talking to someone. Don’t lock yourself up in a room and study all day and night. Becoming a book worm is definitely not going to help. Humans are social animals that you need to talk to and express your feeling with. Make sure you take out time to converse with someone, your friends, family, stranger, anyone. You need a support system and someone who will encourage you.

Remind yourself that feeling anxious is normal and is one's natural reaction to any external pressure. The key is to put these nerves to positive use. Try to face the situation with a strong will power rather than avoiding or escaping from them. If you keep your faith, your trust, the right attitude, and if you're grateful, you'll see new doors of opportunities and success opening up on their own.

"Count on your Failure Because Success is a Poor Teacher” GAYATRI RAO | Inspector (Central Excise & Customs)

Name : GAYATRI RAO Qualification : B.Sc.(Chemistry) Selection : Inspector (Central Excise & Customs); CGLE'15 Hello SSC Adda, Bankers Adda and friends .!! From the last few months, I was in a dilemma whether to write my success story or not and finally decided to write it. In fact, it is not a success story, it is a short note that might inspire Students a lot, It is a story of ups and down and again standing up against all odds. May be it will inspire some of the aspirants especially girls who are seeking for the success in spite of all negatives they have to face in the society. I belong to a small district of Rajasthan where Conventional thinking still persists that girls need not be given much of education and also no freedom to choose career opportunities, almost same was the case with me. we are 5 sisters (2 elder & 2 Younger). One can imagine how tough it would have been for my parents to provide us proper upbringing & proper education. Somehow my parents managed to provide both. On the top of all these, we all know that having a girl child in the family is considered as a curse in some parts of India and we were 5 sisters.

Till now I couldn't find the answer to this that why our relatives and neighbors are more concerned about our internal matters unnecessarily. I was fed up and all my relatives were asking me what I was doing. My father's colleague called him and informed him that his daughter had been selected in a particular govt. job. I felt very bad that I couldn't :( I stopped meeting everyone.I was tired of answering (Aajkal kya kar rahi ho?) Uncle, Aunties, Relatives...They all are just a headache. I have cried a lot because of them. They are the major hindrance b/w us and our success. But "JITNE KA MAZA TO TAB HI HAI JAB LOG AAPKE HARNE KA INTEZAR KAR RAHE HO” They keep telling my parents that they need not give us much education, they should not let their daughters do this & that etc..My life & education also would have come to a halt after 12th for some reasons but luckily My parents gave me the chance to earn my life. Finally, I took admission in B.Sc.(Chem), pursued it successfully. But since the last year of my college, I was worried about my career I knew that being a girl I won't be given many opportunities. I had little time in hand. I tried to find some work in Pvt. sector but failed. Then after getting some wise suggestion from my best friend I entered in the field of preparation for govt. jobs. Though I failed in some exams at the start as it was completely a new experience for me, I started focussing on one aim i.e. SSC CGLE'15. My parents told me that it would be your 1st and last chance. I was under immense pressure but now I can say that the pressure worked 'positively for me as I had limited time & goal was already decided. All I needed at that time was 8-10 months of completely disciplined and routine daily study plan & I also did it too. 29th JUNE 2016 is that lucky day before that I considered my self very unlucky. On this day around 9.30 pm, I got a call and heard a voice "hey, hello Inspector Ma'am" I replied in an awkward manner....What!!.....Then felt relieved to the utmost level. Now, I would try my best to help my younger sisters achieve what they are aspiring for. How life is Strangeful!!. I still wonder where would I had been if I were made to quit after 12th. So, I would request all the parents to give your daughters a chance to prove themselves too and also to the girls to take this opportunity positively and prove their worth in the family. Advice: It's better to realize what you can do & what you cannot as soon as possible. Forget the world around you for 8-10 months, Set a goal, have a disciplined & routined life & most importantly follow it strictly. Keep learning from your failures. Success is not easy and certainly not for lazy ones. “Count on your failure B’coz Success is a poor teacher”- Just Remember a Minute’s Success Pays the Failure of Years. Failure is Success if we learn from it.

“The Pessimist Sees Difficulty In Every Opportunity. The Optimist Sees The Opportunity In Every Difficulty.” -Winston

Churchill" I followed daily quizes, practice tests and GA capsules of ssc adda which helped me a lot in maximizing my overall

score. Lastly, I want to extend my heartiest gratitude to my parents and siblings for their unwavering faith in me and my

closest friend and guide who had more belief in success than I myself.

SBI PO Group Exercise & Personal Interview Experience 2017

SBI PO is the most sought-after recruitment process by banking aspirants. Group Exercise and Personal Interview is the final round (Phase-III) in SBI PO 2017 Recruitment. Last year SBI introduced a prioritisation based group exercise which is also being conducted this year in the Group Discussion Round. Interview experiences can help you get an insight of the difficulty level, environment and types of questions being asked in SBI PO 2017 Group Exercise and Interview Round. Keep on reading to understand the experience of Sidhartha Vishwambhar Kamble.

After reaching the venue they conducted document verification which was followed by the start of Group Discussion. In group discussion, there were 2 panelists and us 10 aspirants. They initially told us that this is not the knowledge test. We are just examining how you behave in a group. So, we were not tensed.

GD Topic- "Should India give top priority to growth and development or to equal distribution of national wealth.". We talked about 10 mins but we haven't reach at consensus, though I tried to conclude. Each candidate spoke on the above-mentioned topic for few minutes after which the group came to a conclusion. Group Discussion can be a tensed situation for some, but with confidence and clarity of thought, one can easily score in this phase. It is important to maintain the decorum of the session and avoid being too loud. Put forth your views and opinions firmly best backed by figures or facts and also let your fellow group members voice their opinions.

Group Exercise- As a manager which of the following attributes he should have. We were asked to arrange a set of traits/ qualities in sequence and have a discussion on it later. - Time management - Delegation - Leadership - Communication - Maintaining discipline and crisis management - Motivation - Selecting right peoples and improving them Again, we had a healthy discussion, and I again tried to reach at consensus but we failed to reach. Still we had already told by panelists that there is no necessity to reach at consensus and is not affect your marks. Personal Interview 5 panelists at the interview, chairmen (a confident, cordial, and experienced man), 2 female, 2 male. Chairman: So, Siddharth, you are from Jalna, tell something about Jalna. Me: talked about separation of Jalna from Aurangabad, then about drought hit region, about irrigation and crops. Chairman: Industries in Jalna? Me: Sir I don't know exactly but I know that steel industry is famous. (I was not happy at my answer) Chairman: Introduce yourself Me: talked about me, my family, my education Chairman: you are a computer engineer, how will you help our bank? Me: talked about digital India, e-commerce, internet, information technology etc. Member 1 (female): your hobby is enjoying life, so how do you enjoy life? Me: talked about everything I like. Member 2 (male): do you think man ki baat is important and have any effect on people Me: answered affirmative, and gave importance of ruling- ruled contact and answerability of rulers to ruled. Some cross questions. From both member 1 and 2. I politely but firmly gave its importance and again supported my answer with some examples as well. Member 3 (male): how banks help rural development? Me: talked about moneylenders, then banks, then agriculture credit, PSL, savings, investment, proper channelization of money etc. (all including me were satisfied) Member 4 (female): you talked about financial inclusion, what is the tagline of it. Me: first I said I didn't understand the question (really) and later I said sorry mam I don't know. Member 1: Google, WhatsApp, Facebook Twitter. Which one came in last century Me: mam, it's google. She then asked year, but I said sorry mam I don't know. She said it's 1998. I thanked her. Member 4: What do you know about SBI? Me: talked about Imperial bank, then PSB, then merger, and then about SBI among top 50 global banks Member 4: Which banks merged with SBI? Me: 1 Mahila bank and 5 associate banks and names are... But she said it's ok ...fine. Member 1: What is special today?
