Refresher SessionMHE Training

With the arrival of winter breeze, BBQparty becomes a must! CS&L Departmentat FB Area Branch arranged a movienight followed by a BBQ dinner for thebranch staff on 4th Jan ’19. The event wasattended by Supplier Officers, WarehouseLoaders, Administration staff, Cashiers andthe IT personnel. CS&L, maintaining itsimage of hosting such events for theworking staff, ensured thatManagerial/Supervisory staff took the roleof the host and their respectivesubordinates were the guests.

In order to promote Pakistani Cinema, alocal movie was nominated as opposed toBollywood or Hollywood. Parchi, aPakistani comedy crime film was enjoyedby the viewers.

Alongside the movie, employees alsoengaged in sports which included cricket,badminton and board games. Beef Biryani,BBQ Tikka and Gajar ka Halwa were ahuge hit among the attendees.

It is rightly said that a team that bondstogether, works well together. To nurture thisthought and boost the team spirit andmorale, Head Office IT Team, along withHead of IT, Sadaf Saad, went for a fun-filledpicnic at the Turtle Beach.

There were a number of games enjoyed bythe team such as three truths and a lie, blind-folded minefield and water relay race. Thiswas followed by jet ski rides, dirt bike andhorse/camel rides. To top off the fun in thesun, there were selfie contests, races, sing-alongs and karaoke.

All in all, it was a day well spent and theentire team came back refreshed andenergized.

REFRESHER SESSIONThe CSL team at Hyderabadconducted a refresher sessionwith the Supplier Officers.This started off with arefresher on IDPs. The newjoiners were given clarityregarding Execution LossTracking (ELT) and Direct BankDeposit (DBD) and theirimportance with respect toincentives and IDP.

They were also told how toachieve these numbers withexcellence (ELT and DBD).Those SOs who hadsupported the company inthe absence of resigned SOswere given specialappreciation.

This was followed by anengagement activity whichwas thoroughly enjoyed byall the participants.

MATERIAL HANDLING EQUIPMENT (MHE) TRAINING

A training session on “Material HandlingEquipment” was held at Lahore Warehouse led byWajid Ali, the Warehouse Supervisor.

The entire Warehouse team, including loaders,participated in the session where necessaryguidelines were provided.

A refresher was given on the safety measuresduring operations along with maintenance of themachines as per Abudawood standards.

The activity was highly appreciated by all theparticipants and they expressed immensesatisfaction towards understanding of theprocedures.

Karachi Korangi Branch spent a “Sunday Fun-

day” at the beach to celebrate exceptional

KPIs and Volume achieved by the team. The

participants included both management and

non-management employees. Along with CBD,

the CSL, IT and Admin teams also took a break

from routine life to rejoice at the beach.

Everyone enjoyed a de-stressing day with food

and dancing, followed by a competitive match

of volleyball and football.

Since the beach day, the team was

rejuvenated and motivated which resulted in

delivering an IYA of 124%.
