Our Miracles of Jesus Bible study is all online (no book required) and you can jump in any time! You will receive a daily e-mail, and we meet on Mondays at 1 p.m. for Zoom Bible Study to share and discuss. 2. We are beginning an in-depth study into the book of 1 Peter. This is a non video-based study led by Kate. You will complete your Bible study work during the week, and we will Zoom each Sunday at 5 p.m. for teach- ing and discussion. This study guide can be purchased on Amazon, and we will begin on May 17. We will start a new four-week series with Youth Group at Home that teaches students that it’s OK not to be OK, but it’s not OK to stay there. The scriptures are clear: there is hope in Jesus. There is victory in Jesus. There are purpose and mean- ing in Jesus. Ultimately, there is LIFE, real life, through Jesus! The session 1 video is on the YM360 website: https://www.youthgroupathome.com. Be sure to watch the video before- hand and join us Sunday at 10 a.m. on Zoom for a discussion time. Plans For Worship Beginning in MayOur Coronavirus Response Team, comprised of medical professionals, staff, and key church leaders has been pondering our next steps as a church. We have made some important plans for our church family and want to share them with you. Please click on this video to see our plans for worship beginning in May.
Porterfield Buddy SystemOur Porterfield Buddy System is a simple way to stay connected as a body of believers. We are asking every-one in the church to take out your pictorial directory, find your name, and call the person listed before you and the person listed after you. You can just call to check in, and you might ask if they would like you to pray for/with them. If you have any serious concerns, please share them with the church office, (229) 436-6336. Let’s stay connected during these unusual times!

We are surely missing each one of you and seeing your smiling faces during this challenging time. We believe that we have seen the best of the Church in the midst of it all. We see our Porterfield church family leaning into God’s Word and His presence in a beautiful and pure way, and we also see us caring for each other and serving one another in many ways. We want to continue to do all that we can as a church family to continue to do this well while keeping us all as safe and healthy as possible.
Therefore, we are providing a simple way for our congregation to communi-cate any needs that you may have and respond to those needs as a church family. So whether it is running errands to any store in town, yard work, pick-ing up medications or groceries, etc., we hope you will simply call or e-mail Kate Greene who serves as the Connection Coordinator at Porterfield. We will then reach out to a church member who will respond to your request!
If you are a church member and would be willing to serve and help meet the needs of our church members in this way, please notify Kate and you will be placed on a list and called on as needed.
