Exhibits: “Double Vision” July 18th - August 31st Artists: Therese Smerud and Byron Annis While Therese Smerud and Byron Annis use the same photographic equipment and software to produce their images, their photographs are dissimilar, probably because of the differences of gender, personality and life experience. Reception will be held July 26th from 5-7pm. “Aboutface” July 18th - August 31st Artist: Jeanne Arenz “Aboutface” is a mixed media art exhibit featuring the work of Bangor artist Jeanne Arenz. Painting, printing, photography, building, stitching and beading are combined in facial images that often begin with loose, simple drawings. The combinations of materials in both two and three dimensional works are an effort to explore the line between fine art and domestic craft. Reception will be held July 26 from 5-7pm. “Rural America” July 18th - August 31st Artist: Elizabeth Ann Larson Rural America is a watercolor exhibition about using found objects, old homesteads, landmarks from the Midwest, old farm machinery and vegetation.
