EI-2875IfthereaderselectsaNametheCategorycard,thenhe/sheshouldtellthegroupthatit’saNametheCategorycardandthenbeginslowlyandclearlyreadingaloudtheitemsonthelist.•Otherplayers:Atanypoint,aplayercanshoutoutthe
nameofthecategory.Thefirstpersontocorrectlyguessthecategoryearnsapoint.
•Ifthepersonguessingiscorrect,he/sheearnsapointandtheroundisover!Passthecardboxtosomeoneelse.
•Iftheplayerwhoguessedisincorrect,thereadershouldcontinuereadingdownthelistandanotherplayercantrytoguessthenameofthecategory.
•Theplayerwhoincorrectlycalledoutthecategorycannotguessagainuntilallotherplayershavetriedandfailedtonamethecategory.
•Iftheplayerguessesacategorynamethatisclosebutnotexact,itisuptothereadertodecidewhethertoaccepttheanswerornot.(Forexample,ifaplayersays“TypesofPop,”insteadofthecorrectanswer,“BrandsofSoda,”thatplayershouldearnapoint.However,iftheplayersays“Drinks,”thatanswerisnotspecificenoughandnopointshouldbeawarded.)
IfthereaderselectsaListcard,thenhe/sheshouldslowlyandclearlyreadaloudthecategoryatthetopandthenall10items.•Otherplayers:Listencarefullyandtrytorememberwhatis

How to Keep TimeIfaplayertakestoolongtoanswer,playerscanchant“ReadmyList!”fivetimestocountapproximately15seconds;chant“ReadmyList!”twotimestocountapproximately5seconds.
IfthereaderselectsaLightningRoundcard,thenshe/heshouldtellthegroupthatit’saLightningRoundcardandthenlistoneitemthatcouldbeincludedinthecategory.•Goaroundthetable,witheachplayerlistinganitem
inthecategory.Eachplayerhas5secondstolistanacceptableitem.
•Continuegoingaroundthegroup,witheachplayerlistinganewitemeachtime.
•Whenaplayercannotlistsomethingwithin5secondsorlistssomethingthathasalreadybeensaid,theroundisover.Thisplayerdoesnotearnapoint,butallotherplayersearn1point!Iftheroundendsbeforeallplayershavelistedsomething,insistthattheremainingplayersgiveananswertoearntheirpoint.Passthecardpiletothenextplayertobeginanewround.
