In the townships of Port Elizabeth there are several thousand children with Cerebral Palsy who

lack access to specialized disability equipment.

We aim to support these children by providing equipment free of charge. We also

give physical help showing them the love God has for them. In addition we encourage the parents to accept their children despite the

disability and help them see how precious they are in God’s eyes.

Our team of carpenters designs and manufac-tures equipment such as standing frames and

walkers that are low cost and durable.

Our therapists deliver the equipment directly to the houses whilst educating the

caregivers on how to best care and develop their child. Our counsellor provides the much needed emotional and spiritual support to the mothers.

We organize camps in Jeffrey’s Bay for mothers and their children. The aim is to

encourage the mothers, enabling them and their children to take a break from their daily

routines and difficulties. As a result of the camps, we are starting home groups where the mothers keep meeting and support each other.

More than 1000 children have so far been equipped and supported through our outreach

program by our therapists and councellors.
