Best part of the BMX show? "My favorite is probably when he jumped over Mrs. Raymond." Nicolaas deMoet, 8th "My favorite part was that we got to eat pizza while watching the show." Ceasar Cassell, 8th Jad Fakhouri, Jacob Ngo, Jordan Woods, Jovanni Garcia, and Madhav Pudukottai Krishnaraj, 7th, smile for the camera on the first day of Red Ribbon Week. The fight against drugs was on as the whole school looked through their wardrobe for something fitting to wear for each day of the week. On October 30, students celebrate their commitment to remain drug free by wearing their brightest clothing to show they are "too bright for drugs." SPOOKYSTUDENTS

Halloween BashAnnual event draws a record crowd

The number ofspooked students whobailed out fromentering the HauntedHouse.

"My experience at theHaunted House wasfun; it got me kindascared."Camron Tuthill, 7th

TerrifyingTeacherMr. Brubaker,dressed as a scaryclown, frightensDCIS students asthey wait in line forthe Haunted House.Many of them didnot end up goingthrough.

Hannah Burke, 7th, checks out the pumpkins at theHalloween Bash and smiles at how awesome they are. "Iwas amazed by all the great carving work!"

At the Halloween Bash onOctober 26th, Coyotes of allgrades gather in the MPR, gym,and hard courts. They enjoyedgames, food, and the HauntedMaze with their peers. In theMPR, students munched onpizza and drinks while watchingScooby Doo. In the gym,students braved the HauntedHouse, took photos with friends,

and danced to the music. On thehard courts, parent volunteershosted crazy games with coolprizes, like candy. The HalloweenBash provided a memorableexperience for students.
