Two senior citizens are recovering in the hospital after beingshot by a suspect who broke into their Hendry County home

According to the sheriffrsquos office the suspect walked into the home of an elderlywoman and her senior citizen son Both were shot and transported to thehospital They are expected to survive

Authorities said the suspect made off with prescription drugs

The incident happened Wednesday afternoon at a home in the PioneerPlantation Subdivision in Clewiston
