What is written here is a dreamNothing moreA series of images projected in the mind during sleepThese images are shown continuously to show a storyA story that is still occurring todayBut this is a dreamHow is it continuous?

What will the outcome be?So it beginsDREAM ONEI remember the start of my continuous dream. It started with me falling. It wasnt me falling of anything but me falling in dead space. It was dark and all I could see was black. It felt like forever and I felt impatience due to it felt like I wasnt moving really. For what felt like a few hours I just laid there feeling the wind swoop past me. Although it was dark I could see what I was wearing. I was wearing a pair of blue jeans that were loose fit and a button white shirt. The wind made a whipping sound as it pasted through my collar. After this I could start to see the ground but it was still a black as far as the eye could see. Now that I think about it I really couldnt see the ground but I could feel it. As I fell faster I hit the ground. Now I thought the dream ended there because the next thing I saw was complete darkness. But then a white light pushed through.

I hit the ground with a loud thud as dirt and stone falls on top of me. I lifted my body and looked around. I felt like I was in hell. I was in what looked to be a tunnel system that branched off every twenty feet. The white light that once blinded me retreated back into darkness. Small torches hung from the wall every teen feet. I stood there for a few seconds. Where am I? the first words I spoke in this dream. I looked behind me but the rubble from the hole I fell through blocked the hall. I edged myself to the ceiling to peek up but only saw a small pin prick of light. Did I really survive that? I shook the dirt off of my shirt and started to walk down the hall. Another hour passed as I walked a straight line looking for an exit. This has to be a dream. Ill wake up any second. Ill prove this by pinching myself. I took my fingers and pinched my arm. But I didnt wake up. No I stayed there in this dark hell. I stopped walking for a second and yelled, I fucking talking to myself! As I walked on the sound of dripping liquid seemed to follow me. When I would look back the sound stopped. In front of me I felt a pull towards the dark.

Then the torches started to come closer to each other lighting up the whole tunnel. Around fifty feet in front of me laid a door.

Is that an Exit? I wondered as I walked closer.

As I reached the door the torches behind me dimmed out at vanished into eternity. I felt the door. There were carvings of three circles and weird lettering that surrounded them. In the center of the circles was a handle made of bone, a skull of a dog. I pulled the door open.

Though the room was dark I could see it was about the size of a football field. In front of me was stairs that went up on to a platform. As I walked closer I thought to myself, Why am I here. What is drawing me to this?

I looked on the ground and realized that the stairs were in water and it reflected everything. I looked in my reflection. It was me. I walked up the stairs and fire around the man-made lake flamed up. The room was made of some type of stone that had a glossy shine to it.I reached the top and saw my worst nightmare. Something I wished I never saw.

A man was chained to the floor ceiling and walls. His body was covered in ripped clothing and bandages. He had black hair that covered over his tilted face. He was suspended in the air by the chains. I took a step closer.

Ive been waiting for you. I stopped but the sudden chilling words that sent pain down my spine. A chuckle came from the man as he started to lift his head. Instead of a face was a mask.

This mask could only be described as a jesters mask. His right eye was carved to wink and his left was broken exposing his real eye. Green eyes. His smile was still part of the mask but it was carved. This grin was carved to show a ripped mouth to give a creepy smile.

Ive been waiting for you. He said again. I continued to stand there scared. This is a dream right. I guess I should go with it.

Why is that? I asked. My eyes focused on his mask the whole time. I never moved my gaze.

Ive been here for a long time. I need to get out. You will release me, kid That last word sent a shock down my neck. The way he saidkid was not meant to be friendly. Why should I do that? Arent you chained for a reason? I asked seeing if he would answer me.

He laughed. I was put here so long ago that they forgot about me. Everyone did. If you let me go everyone will remember. Ill make them. Come on. I know you want to. Do it. DO IT!

His voice scared me. I didnt want to help him but thenIf you let me go I help you. You are alone arent you, huh? I make sure you are never alone. I give you knowledge. Isnt that what you want? Yeah, I know you do. Come on, Adam. Help me.Why did he call me Adam? That isnt my name. My name isnt Adam. I shouldnt help you. Ill wake up any second. This is just a dream.

He laughed louder shaking the room. You think this is a dream. This is really, kid. Come on. Let me go. The key is in your hand.

I looked at my hand and he was right the key was in my hand. Then I couldnt control myself. I started to walk towards him. A low chuckle started to rise from his throat. I inserted the key into the lock on his chest. The mechanism clicked when I turned it.

The chains dropped to the floor and he stretched his arms and neck. He turned to look right at me. That one eye glared at me.

He picked me up and lifted me off the ground. Dont you ever listen in Sunday school? You arent supposed to listen to evil, kid. No, run. Its my time to play.

With that last word he threw me across the room. I landed in the water near the door. I stood up and looked back. He slowly walked down the stairs humming a tune I couldnt catch. Ill give you a day head start. Run and if I catch you. You die.

I turned around and started to run down the tunnel. But this tunnel was different. There were electrical lights on the ceiling. The walls had arrows pointing saying EXIT. I ran for my life. As I ran I tripped on a crack in the floor and fell. As I fell I spun and my head landed on a rock. I blacked out.

DREAM TWO

I wake up with a cut on my forehead. I stand up and I am still in the hallway. I dont hear anything so I slowly start to walk towards the signs pointing to the exit. I find the exit and I push open the door. It is day outside but the sky is a brownish color. I find myself in the center of what looks to be a destroyed city.
