Using PMC-Three Main Steps1. Create a marketing list and sync with
MailChimp
2. Create a template in MailChimp itself
3. Create a PowerMailChimp blast and send!
How does the Sync work?• Subscribers are synced from CRM over to
MailChimp ONLY (not from MailChimp back to CRM)
• Marketing lists can be manually synced, or will automatically sync to MailChimp right before the blast is sent out
• Statistics are synced from MailChimp back to CRM automatically after a blast is sent out
How does the Sync work?• Groups and subgroups are automatically
created under the master list in MailChimp
Marketing List SyncChoose a MailChimp list to sync to if you’d like to use this marketing list in a PMC blast
Marketing List SyncYou can check the status of your sync in the “MailChimp Synchronized” section
MailChimp TemplatesWith PowerMailChimp, you are still creating the email template you want to send inside of MailChimp. THIS WILL BE THE ONLY THING YOU DO OUTSIDE OF CRM

PowerMailChimp ActivitiesDifferent types of activities• Send, Open, Click, Bounce, Unsubscribe, Complaint
• Use in advanced finds/dynamics marketing lists• Use to fire off workflows
PowerMailChimp ActivitiesHow unsubscribes work• PMC activity (unsubscribe is created)
• Bulk email radio button in CRM is not touched
• MailChimp keeps track of unsubscribes and won’t
sync any bounces/unsubscribes back to MailChimp
• Unsubscribed members are NOT automatically
removed from the marketing list
