SUMMARYOverall, the goal of this project is to have students fully understand the problem solving process. Once this process has been mastered, their interpretation of mass incarceration (whether they support or go against it) will allow them to build an argument based on these problem solving steps. Another important aspect of this project is to have students be able to view the issue from multiple perspectives. Having them understand the causes and affects of mass incarceration on a national level will help them understand how it affects everyone and not just those that are targeted by this issue.
