What have you learnt about technologies from the process of

constructing this product?

Adobe Photoshop

The piece of technology I used most within my creating process was Adobe Photoshop. This program was hard to use and get used to at the start and was very stressful throughout the whole process but without it the creation of my media product wouldn't have been possible. Photoshop opened up many possibilities such as: the ability to edit my photos with filters and lighting effects, adding text and other images which really aided the overall appearance when creating my music magazine. Overall Photoshop was extremely useful in my creation process as it provided me with a lot of useful things. One part of the creation process when Photoshop was extremely useful was when I wanted something out of the back of my shot. Within my shot as it was taken in my garden there was the washing line and prop which doesn't look all that professional so I used the clone stamp and removed it.

Blogger

I used Blogger throughout the whole process of the creation process. I used it to present my progress with the use of images, text and also embedded technologies. I learnt how to embed something onto your blogger by putting the embed link onto the HTML page when writing the post. Also I learnt how to tailor embedded codes to fit my width of blog. Moreover, I learnt how to use coding to create a navigation bar.   

Photography

I used a Sony Cybershot W800 20MP 5x Compact Digital Camera for taking my photos. I had to look at how the light would affect my photos as I was taking one in a dark lit area and one bright lit area. Therefore I had to look at when I needed to use flash. I made sure that I made my model have a lot of different poses so that I can use a variety of different images so that my magazine is versatile. I learnt how to do this with this camera as this was one of the first times I had used it. Another thing I learnt was how to change the mode. I kept steady shot on as it made the image really still and the quality higher.
