Qualitative feedbackWhat have you learned from your audience feedback?1General feed back

Here are a few general comments shared by our target audience that we have received, this made us proud of our media products as we our being told we are talented for the work we have produced. Much of he feedback is telling us how well we have done in producing our trailer, meaning we have been successful. An aspect that im an very happy with is individuals being honest about what they think out our production and would they be willing to watch it..Props and costume feedback

regarding props and costume, the feedback was limited however we have been complimented on the use of body parts as it was an effective way of conforming to the horror genre. This highlights that we have paid attention to detail within the props we used as we wanted to give a grotesque effect through the use of this , therefore using the codes and conventions of the horror genre and this has been recognised .Within titling we were praised on was how we as a group produced the main title using the body part props and creating a blink effect, once again showing that overall we have effectively been able to edit our title to a high standard and conform to the horror genre at the same time.Filming

The three act structure we felt was important to get right in order to create a clear trailer that flows from the beginning to the end. We were able to effectively do thus as the audience was able to distinguish when there was a transition in the act.Regarding filming, The audience noticed that we had paid close attention to framing and composition of every shot, and therefore suggest that our filming was neat and tidy. this is a vital compliment to have due to the fact that there were occasions were we have redone scenes in order to achieve high quality filming throughout Another compliment form the audience was the variety of shot types used, especially the use of extreme close ups. this particular shot is very common within the horror genre, this shows that we have used shots in order to conform to the horror genre effectively Sound feedback

Sound was widely complimented. One main piece of frequent positive feedback was the sound we chose to use, which was said to be very effective in building tension but also conforming to the horror genre. We know this as they explain they felt fear throughout due to the music. Therefore we know the music impacted the quality of the trailer. A we were extremely picky when picking our music. And decided to pick three tracks , one for each act. Another aspect regarding sound that was raised, was the voice over monologue with charlotte. The audience were able to align themselves and feel sympathy for charlotte, but also find out what she was feeling . This is exactly what we wanted, as we wanted to trick the audience into thinking she is innocent and I believe we were effective in doing so .Editing

Analysing these comments it seems that our target audience was able to recognise the editing techniques we used, as many mention about the quick pace montage at the end and how it was effective in building up tension. They also explained that the ending was their favourite part based on the way we have edit clips together to be fast pace. We also go praised on the way we colour corrected every shot as the dull and cold lighting meant that we were able to conform to the horror genre effectively giving a cinematic feel to the trailer. This was an element that was largely recognised within our audience. Therefore we have been able to appeal to the them and promote not only by a survey but through social media.Construction of character and narrative

Lastly we also received comments regarding the construction of character and narrative. The audience were able to effectively identify the idea of the story line and the characteristics and roles of the characters. For example they were able to identify who was the antagonist and who was the protagonist, which was our aim. Therefore from analysing these comments I believe we were effective in doing so as we received no bad feedback.
