During the research and construction stages of my music video, I've taken feedback from potential audience members, through series of questionnaires. (All questionnaires are displayed on my blogger,)

Page 3: What have you learned from audience feedback

Firstly, I asked a group of potential audience to carry out a questionnaire on their views on music

The first result, enabled me to understand that my potential audience on average do like music. As a result I learned that my target audience (18-25) was a sufficient choice.

From the second question, I learned that my target audience listen tom music on a daily basis, which proves to be significant, as I am targeting genuine music consumers.

This question is the most important, within reference to audience feedback, since it allows me to understand the genre of music which is most appealing to my potential audience. As a result it shows that that Pop is the most popular genre of music. However, as Rock was the second favourite genre, I believed it would be best for my audience if i combined the two genres, into Pop/Rock, as then my music video will appeal to a large scale of my Target audience

From this question, I merely learned that my audience like listening to their music via music video. This is an significant response since it highlights that my target audience is an adequate choice, as they like music videos.

Secondly, I then constructed a questionnaire that would determine the result of the band

name

The band names which are not highlighted, are the ones which were in consideration for the band name. Then, I constructed a questionnaire, and the main question was what name do you think the band should carry out.

As a result, I learned that the name the audience believed was best to pursue in was Burrito Dorito.

However, I came to a conclusion that the name Burrito Dorito, was not suitable for the message the band was

trying to achieve.

So I then constructed a new questionnaire, which would determine a more sufficient choice from my target audience.

These were the 5 choices

From this I learned that:

1st Draft questionnaire

I learned from this question that my audience believed that the first draft was heading in the right direction in terms of the narrative.

From this question, I learned that the colour contrast imagery works adequately within reference to appealing to my target audience.

I learned that how well the role of Harry was played had mixed views from my potential target audience

This question enabled me to understand the narrative from the audience’s perspective, and that it has a realist approach.

As all participants have mixed views, I didn’t really learn much from this question.

Page 7: What have you learned from audience feedback

This question enabled me to understand that my music video is seen to be inspiring to my potential target audience.

From this question I learned that the concept plaque could be made more clearer.

I also asked the participants to convey to me what they believed worked well:

And the parts which did not work well:

How this helped with the changes of my music video

I got rid of the Brick Scene with Harry, as the audience believed it wasn’t realistic

I made the concept of the plaque more clearer.

I filmed and edited more clips of the artist

Then I created a questionnaire to determine the record label for my digipak (but also my poster)

From the first question I realized that the digipak has quite a lot of an influence on the perception of the artist.

From this question, I learned that the digipak should have significance to the band.

From this I learned that the record label should be a significant feature on the digipak

From this question I learned that the minimum record labels I should have is 1, and the maximum labels is 2

From this question, I learned that if I was going to pursue in one record label, I was going to use “Trudas Music Entertainment.” However, as i then decided on using 3 record labels, I learned that “Kwirk productions” and “Amas entertainment” were adequate choices.

How I used the audience feedbackI used the record labels, which were liked by my target questionnaire participants

The sun represents rising to the top, which links to the significance of the band in the digipak.

Also, I created a questionnaire, to help me understand my audience views on posters

From this I learned that my potential audience buy posters

From this question, I learned that my audience believe that the poster helps advertise the artist

From this I learned that the theme of Nature should be evident in my poster

This question is the most significant for my audience feedback, within reference to the poster, since the answer emphasizes that i should carry out the same theme which is produced in my digipak and my music video.

Page 12: What have you learned from audience feedback

From this question, I learned that the message conveyed in the digipak and the music video, emphasized by the imagery of nature. As a result, I have learned that the imagery of nature is a winning method; thus, should not be changed.

I learned from this question that my audience are not to bothered on whether the music video should feature in my poster.

As a result, I learned that my audience, do not care if my artist features to much.

Page 13: What have you learned from audience feedback

How the poster results helped construct my poster

The audience answered that they liked the colour contrast, so I maintained this imagery in my poster.

As there was mixed views on the artist featuring, I believed that he should, as he does not feature significantly in the digipak

I fulfilled the audience’s demands of the natural imagery
