Future of “Social”

The future of the idea of social is uncertain. The transformation of society over the last century has been

phenomenal and it will be impossible to predict the future.

The social structure of 100 years ago has been completely thrown out and today millions of people worldwide are logging onto social networking

sites and speaking to others all over the world.

Is a blogging social Networking?

“Social networking sites, revolve much more around the ability of an individual to build a web "presence" and to create visible links with others in the network. What writing there is on a social networking site is often in computer slang, these sites often allow the ability to place music, photo, and video content on the site, allowing the individual to showcase their likes and dislikes. Again, all of the features of social networking sites are intended to create social interactions with others.”(http://supportblogging.com/Blogs+vs+Social+Networking)

Future of Blogging?

As newborns, blogs were simply diary-like entries on which readers could comment. Blogs have evolved since they were first created and are still continuing to do so• Rich Site Summary (RSS) feeds, notifying readers when a new entry was posted• Tagging is a software tweak that's already used on photo-sharing site • All reader comments on all blogs could, potentially, be linked up based on their tags, so that, instead of following individual blogs, people would be able to follow conversations on specific topics conducted on hundreds of blogs.
