Making the application:
• What these stories have in common:– All three were only thinking about short-term
pleasure.
• Christianity is a religion of the present!
• While we live IN the now we don’t live FOR the now
• Pleasure from sin is momentary (Heb. 11:5)
• Pain from doing what is right is momentary (2 Cor. 4:17)
![Page 13: What Do these have in Common? WHAT’S YOUR PRICE?](https://reader037.fdocuments.us/reader037/viewer/2022110322/56649d1e5503460f949f1fab/html5/thumbnails/13.jpg)

What’s Your price?• Relationships with people you like,
that get in the way of your commitment to God?
• Fitting in with others, while remaining silent about the truth?
• Having a well-paying job that offers no time to do anything for the Lord?
![Page 16: What Do these have in Common? WHAT’S YOUR PRICE?](https://reader037.fdocuments.us/reader037/viewer/2022110322/56649d1e5503460f949f1fab/html5/thumbnails/16.jpg)
REMEMBER THE PRICE JESUS PAID
• Jesus Paid the price:– For our forgiveness– For our redemption– For our salvation
