What Are The Major IssuesCausing Teenage Depression?
Academic Stress
A majority of students these days are found to be burdened with the need to perform well academically.
With the need to perform taking a strain on the mental condition of teen students and with the sense of rejection looming large over them, it is no wonder that they get depressed.
Romance Issues
Needless to say break-ups can have a catastrophic effect upon the adult mind, leaving alone the teenage minds.
Unrequited love and of course break-ups can be devastating for the adolescent minds and can throw them into depressive feelings.
Trauma
A trauma can be anything – the death of a parent/friend, physical or mental abuse or anything else.
The effects of a trauma can be so severe that it can send someone down the path of mental stability into the abyss of depression.
Parental Issues
Separation or divorce is nothing new to kids or teenagers. Yet the constant bickering, fighting, screaming and blaming can take a heavy toll upon the minds of children.
They are torn apart as to which parent to choose should the ultimate ever happen.
Lending A Helping Hand
A helping hand can be the rightful thing to offer a teen who is on a downward spiral.
With the right teen therapy, any kid can bounce back to normal life and be happy again.
