Communication Skills:
I have broad range of communication skills that I have acquired through different outlets of my career:
Customer Service- Selling, procuring and managing memberships for the SLO Makerspace
Effectively managing all range of customer problems, from the friendly customer to the irate
one. Finding a cost effective solution to make both parties satisfied.
Engineering Project Management- Relaying project plans from engineering to planning to the
manufacturing floor. Deciding, together as a team, the proper way to approach each individual
task on a 1 billion dollar submarine. This was all under the pressure of time and budget which
added significant complication.
Organizational/Management Skills:
Being the shop manager of the SLO Makerspace required a high level of good organizational skills:
Running a new non-profit company on a limited budget meant knowing exactly where every
penny goes.
Having a thorough knowledge of Word, Excel, Spreadsheets, PayPal, and the entire Google Drive
Network which incorporates scheduling, calendars, advertising, and Word all in one cloud
network.
Managing volunteers to effectively use time.
Computer Skills:
I have a thorough knowledge of how to operate various cloud networks. Primarily, the Google Drive and
Microsoft Online networks. Google drive is a massive and fully encompassing program. Using it properly
is a powerful asset for project management and advertising. There are also other competitive drive,
cloud, and project management networks such as Asana, Trello, and Basecamp that I like to use.
