I would like to inform you of the activities plannedfor the year 2011. At each meeting we will havea speaker from a department of the City ofSavannah, or another topic of interest to theresidents of West Savannah. We want ourresidents to be informed and be aware of allservices offered in our city. .
Special thanks to Mr. Nathaniel Glover for hispresentation at the January meeting. On February22, 2011, he is going to continue the presentationon Beautification and Recycling. The speaker forMarch 22, 2011 will be Mr. Rochelle Small Toney.Our organization does not endorse candidates forany election, however, they are allowed to come to
our meetings to be introduced. Anyone wishing todisplay an election sign in their yard will need tocontact the candidate.The West Savannah Community Organization is
planning to have a membership drive. The duesare $25.00 per year and may be paid ininstallments, to be paid by JUNE 1, 2011. We arein need of people to serve on committees, some ofwhich are hospitality, fund raisers andmembership.Our meetings are held on the fourth Tuesdayof each month.Thank you for all you do to make our community
safe and clean.
