Western Hills Seniors of 2017,
have
been
known
for be-
ing
basic.
We
have
done
nothing
that has
shown
we are
differ-
ent
from
the oth-
er Cin-
cinnati
Public
Schools, so we have decided that
we will be ending our senior year
off and will be absent for remain-
der of the school year.
We would like to thank all the
teachers for making these
“wonderful” high school years a
living hell— literally. As of April
2017, we are breaking what is
known as “Senior Skip Day” and
the entire senior class has officially
decided that we are just going to
end the school year off a
little early.
Therefore,
our last day
will be the
day after
spring
break.
We would
all like to
thank you
for giving us
all the
homework
for giving us
loads of
pointless
essays and
work just for
your pleas-
ure. “I knew
all though detentions and removals
would force these Seniors out of
our school,” Caproni mentioned to
Mr. Dauwe. The teachers didn’t
expect us to last this long in their
game so they applied the pressure.
All the unnecessary homework
and projects were to stress and
frustrate the pupils/test dummies.
Now parents can raise their child
to learn real math and things she
will actually use in the world.
“All we want is for our students
to fail, and
we would
like to say
that the goal
is accom-
plished. You
are all the
future
bums,” says
Licata.
“Although,
you will all
be uneducat-
ed it will be
easier for
me to stay in
middle
class, so
keep up the
good work!”
Licata responds.
We look forward to seeing
the Western Hills University High
School staff and parents for our
graduation ceremony bright and
early on May 16th, 2017 . Hope-
fully the seniors will be there!
All the Seniors Stop Coming to School
President Trump Has Been Abducted by Aliens
Portia Webber, ‘20
It’s like something out of hor-
ror movie—Trump
was seen to be beamed
up from the White
House into a silver
UFO.
The light was fluo-
rescent green and it
was about 100 feet in
length; a strange
sound could be heard
from miles away. Se-
curity came running to
the oval office, but the
frightful aliens locked
the doors. They had to bring in
the strongest branches in
the army to tear the door down. It
took them hours, but they finally
got in . But, by the time they got in
the president had vanished .
An eyewitness said, “I saw it
with my own two eyes; a big sau-
cer came right from the sky above
the white house and BAM!!!!!
Trump was floating straight up to
the saucer. I couldn’t believe my
eyes.”
There was a whistling sound as
he was beamed up! The army had
to cover their ears due to the vi-
brating effect.
“The light was so blinding and
the sound was so deafening that I
had to close my eyes and cover my
ears,” one of the secret services
men stated.
After the abduction, Trump was
gone for six months. During that
time Trump tells us what happened
when he was on the space ship.
Trump said, “First they took me
and put me on a table with a light
blinding my eyes so that I couldn’t
see what they were doing.”
According to him, they injected
him with a poison to convert him
into an alien. But sadly it
only transformed him half
way, so he is half human and
half alien.
When he returned, it
caused him to look on life
differently. For the first
time in history, a Republican
changed his party to become
a Democrat. So some of his
policies started to change--
very mysterious!
Instead of building a wall, he
decided to let everyone
come to America. The al-
iens influenced him to accept
differences. He even divorced
his wife and decided to marry and make
one of the female aliens the first lady, or
otherwise called the first alien. After Trump’s four term was over,
the people decided to make Trump the
president forever. He was loved by
all, especially the aliens.

Water Contamination at WWHS
The Western Breeze Issue 4

FEATURE
Kenneth Wilks, ‘17
An emergency broke out at all CPS
schools!!!!! It's been found that para-
sites have been throughout all of the
schools' water system. Some have
reported that they have seen some-
thing floating around in their water
and a couple days later
they claimed to be
vomiting and loosing
major amounts of
weight.
It's time to get a wa-
ter check. We need to
make sure all of our
water isn't contaminat-
ed nor dirty. A para-
site is an organism
that lives on or in a
host and gets its food
from or at the expense
of its host. Parasites
can cause disease in
humans. Some parasitic diseases are
easily treated and some are not.
Students and staff were shocked
that they have seen something like
this. English teacher Ms. Silbernagel
quoted, "As I refilled my water bottle
at the water fountain, I somehow
stared into my bottle and saw a worm
like figure floating around in my wa-
ter. I reached into my cup and picked
it out and it sucked into my finger
and I started to feel weird for a cou-
ple days. I didn't think it was any-
thing serious. So one morning I went
to the ER, and they found out it was
a parasite in my and started to eat
away at my skin. The
doctor prescribed me a
medication that killed
the parasite."
Shirraye Jenkins, a
senior that attends
Western Hills Univer-
sity, reported that she
used the restroom and
as she washing her
hands she witnessed a
tan like string hanging
off the faucet. And it
wrapped around her
finger and it went into
her finger, slid up her veins and start-
ed to live in her.
A week passed and she has had a
change in her skin complexion. She
also patches of her skin become rot-
ten and had to be hospitalized. Right
because it's a prank....APRIL

New Web Site for CPS: PowerSchool Disabled
Mark Jeffers, ‘17
Cincinnati Public Schools Superin-
tendent Mary A. Ronan shockingly
announced
last Tuesday
that Pow-
erSchool will
no longer be
available for
use. All ac-
counts will
be perma-
nently delet-
ed after the
site shuts
down for the
remainder of
the non-
school year.
All account
information
(including
attendance, disciplinary logs, and stu-
dent fees) will be transferred to the
new service that has been voted on by
the board.
“The way logins and passwords are
handled will completely change,” said
Ronan. “Having student’s birth dates
as their passwords wasn’t the best
idea in hindsight.”
Parents have had the opportunity to
try out some of the new features made
specifically for them. One of them is a
grade notifi-
cation system,
which sends
texts and
emails when-
ever their stu-
dent’s grade
goes up or
down.
“I think it’s
a great way to
keep tabs on
our kid’s
school work!”
said one of
the parents.
“We can
see where
they need to
improve and work with them accord-
ingly,” said another.
Yet, the question remains: is this a
good idea or a bad idea? I guess we’ll
find out next year when they make the
switch.
Robert Speaks, ‘17
Western Hills math teacher, Mi-
chael Kraemer,
has decided to
change his life
around after 5
years in prison for
an alleged bank
robbery.
Over the course
of his five year
imprisonment, he
decided to make a
change in his life
for the better. As
the days went by
he decided to stay
focused on what
really mattered to
him. He set a goal
that he wouldn’t
have his family
have to go visit him anymore in his
life in jail. He decided that he
should focus on his true passion:
teaching! During his time in prison
he got his teacher license.
When he was released from pris-
on, he put his plan
into action; setting
out to help chil-
dren in need. Kra-
emer started to
teach math to high
school students.
He also showed
these students how
to stay out of trou-
ble so they would-
n’t mess up their
lives and make the
same mistake as he
did.
His experiences
and knowledge
gave the students a
better understand-
ing on how to be
more productive with themselves
in school and in society

girls ARE SMARTER THAN boys
The Western Breeze Issue 4
Page 3 April, 2017
OPINIONS
Jalyne Locke, ‘18
In my opinion girls are smart-
er than boys. Women just seem
to have more knowledge than
men. We are
most definitely
stronger than
them. Men are
thought to be
stronger than
women but in
reality a wom-
en is the most
strongest gen-
der alive. Fun
fact
The current
graduation rate
for men and women is that only
60% of men graduate from high
school by the time they are at
least twenty but women’s rate is
64% of women graduate by the
time they are eighteen.
Women can see things before
they happen. In society today
they are many single parents.
When you hear about single
parents you usually see children
and their mom, its very rare for
it to be a single dad. Not saying
that a man is incapable of tak-
ing on the same task, it's just
not as common.
For a long
time women
had to fight to
have the same
rights as a man,
and still to this
day those rights
are taken from
us! A women
can have the
same job as a
man but the
man’s salary
would be way
more because of the gender
which is just not ok!
There are more women out
here working, going to school,
and taking care of their children
on the day to day basis than a
man. And if you ask me this is
not a easy job to do! It’s about
time women get credit! Well, at
least more than we are given!
Darrell Janson, ‘17
I recently went to see Phantom of the
Opera and what a
surprise Ms.
Thole was in the
play. I can re-
member how
much she said she
hated the play but
how ironic that I
found her at the
play let alone in
it.
More than that,
she was perform-
ing excellently in
the play as if she
was the only pro-
fessional making
everyone else in
the play look
like amateurs.
As she danced
and sang her heart away she seemed
to have the audience blown away.
But most of all she had me blown
away with the way she said she didn't
like it then to pull off a performance
like this was one for the ages. Ms.
Thole put it all out there on the stage
as she was flawless in her perfor-
mance; it was one to remember. After
the wonderful performance was over I
asked Ms.
Thole how
many hours of
rehearsal does
it take to pull
off a perfor-
mance like
that.
She respond
and said that
she is just natu-
rally talented
and nobody
can pull a per-
formance “like
mine no matter
how many
hours you
practices.”
Ms Per-
kins says she was also surprised with
the way Ms. Thole put up such a fuss
because it is not her favorite musical. Ms Perkins also said “what a hypocrite to
say you don't like the play but be in it and
do an excellent job at that, but it was and
all around beautiful display.”
Teachers Now Get Paid more than Athletes
Jaylin Jameson, ‘18
We continue to see mediocre profes-
sional athletes sign contracts for mil-
lions of dollars a year. I have long lost
the ability to fathom how any athlete is
worth that kind of money. People are not
envious, but they’re always struck by
the injustice of it.
Teachers NOW get paid more money
more than professional athletes because
athletes are merely merchandise who
actually produce money from ticket
sales, jersey's, commercial revenue and
the like so there pay is a matter of what
they deserve.
Not all athletes study their craft where
they could've started at high school;
some of them are just natural born ath-
letes. C'mon people running up and
down the field or courts for a few hours
and get a couple mills slapped in their
hands, but a teacher who's been studying
all week, making lessons, and teaching
several classes a day for 9 hours a day
or more, grading homework only get 30
or 40 thousand dollars a year?
Now there is enough domestic tran-
quility for the teachers around the world
getting paid more than pro-athletes.
This is what teachers deserve—the re-
spect and honor that should be reflected
in their salary. Why should a football or
basketball player make a million dollars
when a teacher deals with the future of
our children?
Thole Exceeds Expectations
in Phantom of the Opera
“Women just
seem to have
more knowledge
than men. We are
most definitely
stronger than
them.”
(The crowd gives a standing ovation for Thole.)

ATTENTION ATTENTION
ALL WEST HIGH STU-
DENTS!!! Have you noticed
your lock being stolen? Well,
there is an student coming and
stealing locks. We don't know
who it is yet, but we're getting to
the bottom of this.
A student at West High named
Ralph Cox told us that one day
they were going to their locker
and saw someone at their locker.
The person had on West High
uniform but a mask on so you
couldn't see them,
and the student
said “get away
from my locker.”
The student states
“that the thief was
going to get her
lock” and then the
student said “he
was trying to run
towards me with
the lock, but I ran
away.”
Another student
we interviewed,
Ronnie Rouseau,
said that they
seen someone at
their locker and
said, “I’m not
going for none
of that--you trip-
pin on my ma-
ma.”
Then the lock
thief tried to
square up with
the student, but
then the security
saw it and tried
to break the fight
up.
So we interviewed the security
guard so we could get a better
understanding.
The security guard said, “I
heard someone arguing, and so I
went over to see and I saw some
dude in all black that didn't even
know how to fight. He wasn't
even swinging towards the stu-
dent, so I tried to break it up, but
before I knew it, the person in the
black was gone.”
The lock thief is still at large;
there will be a 500 dollar reward
for anyone that gives information
about this crime.
OMG: Bed Bugs Attack West High! Alaizion Mayfied, ’18 February 4, 2017 was the day
when a kid from school made a ru-
mor about the school lockers having
bed bugs in them. All of the teach-
ers and students started to panic
about the situation, so principal Ms.
Applegate had made a flyer telling
all students to take their belongings
out of their lockers.
All students begin to gather their
belongings and put their things in a
plastic bags. Mr. Jump had made
another announcement to the stu-
dents about putting all their belong-
ings back in their lockers so the stu-
dents started to get very angry and
upset about the situation.
One student, senior Fred Smith,
said to his friend, “I saw bed bugs
jumping off people’s coats! It was
hideous.”
Students begin to call their parents,
telling them about how the school
has bedbugs and how the principal
is trying to make them put their be-
longings back. So parents started to
call up to the school letting teachers
and the principal have it. Some par-
ents even came up to the school to
come get their kids.
Everyone was just scared and pan-
icking for no reason, so the student
that went around making the rumor
had came out and made an an-
nouncement that he was just joking
about the whole bedbug situation.
Junior, Brad Mockley said, “I was
just trying to scare people and it
worked!”
Everyone was so mad that he did
that but then everyone started to
laugh because at the end of the day
everyone fell for it and to see every-
one acting so dramatic was so fun-
ny.
Students were running out of
classrooms screaming fake bed-
bugs was all over people things
and all over people. Everyone
couldn't believe how many bed-
bugs there were all over the place,
and everyone was freaking out,
some were even crying because
they were scared of bugs. Some
were allergic and were scared be-
cause they thought they were go-
ing to die. When everyone found
out that the bugs was fake, they
were so angry.
RATS! RATS! BEWARE!

Time Capsule of 1982 Revealed

Chris Carter, ‘17
Finally the time capsule is able to be
opened after all these years. You
wonder what materials they had back
in those
days? Did
they use cell
phones like
we do?
What did
they wear?
Did they
have ear
phones like
we did, or
did they just
walk around
with a radio
booming
music from
their shoul-
ders?
Some-
times it just has
you wondering
what’s in there and what they put in
there for us to show the significance
of their time at West High. Let’s re-
veal what the items were in there
from 1982.
There was a first ever CD player
that was made in Japan. We saw a
Time magazine names the man of the
year as Steve Jobs. There was a pony
BMX bike. Also, there was the one
of the
most pop-
ular al-
bums to
this day:
Michael
Jackson’s
Thriller.
But
there was
a rumor
saying
that it was
a dead
body
from the
incident
when
someone
had
drown in the west
high pool. The
skeleton was all dusty, dirty bones.
Because who knows how long that
body was in there; we made history
because this is the best senior prank
ever.

Many of the upperclassmen are taking Mr. Licata’s Ameri-can Government class fol-lowed with his Economics class during the second half of the school year. As he broke down all the steps teaching you that in order to be middle class or rich you must be skilled or edu-cated. Along with some poor choices he made in his younger days like us as humans do, Licata refused to let his past hold him down. As he studied, what it takes to be a millionaire he is here to show you that anyone can do this with the steps he has shown as an outstanding teacher. But, he left out a little bit of important information. As of May 2017, Mr. Licata will like to officially announce that he will be leaving Western
Hills High School because of his great investments in stocks, bonds, and even mutual funds. He didn’t want to tell the stu-dents and staff so soon, but he has decided that he will be moving to the Bahamas and will be hitting on his Things To Do When I Become Rich list because of his large fortune of 1 Billion dollars. Therefore, he will not only be retiring as a Western Hills teacher, but he is retiring from being a United States citizen and will be fur-thering his life goals in Europe. He plans to travel with his daughter all over Europe, visit-ing Paris, London, Greece, and Italy. So, if you are a current stu-dent take advantage of the Bil-lionaire right before your eyes and you too can be right behind him. He won’t have to work again!
Ms. Shelly May Return to West High
Teacher Becomes Billionaire
Jontae Alexander, ‘17
After Ms. Shelly left Western
Hills University to go work at
20/20, she decides that she
missed the students at Western
Hills University and would like
to return. She would like her
position back as Dean Of Disci-
pline. She thought she would
like it at her new job but she
didn't.
She realized working at this
school is where her heart be-
longs. She misses working with
the staff of Western Hills Uni-
versity. She mentions how
much we made her smile every-
day she walked in the building.
Working at 20/20 isn't like
working at the school in her
opinion.
As a survey was passed around
to West High’s 12th grade stu-
dents asking if Ms. Shelly
should come back, and 90% of
the population agreed that she
should return to the halls of
Western Hills University. We
all also agree that she was very
understanding with the students.
Ms. Shelly had a phone call
with Mr. Jump and he denied
her request to come back. The
reason for denying her is be-
cause he is scared that she will
leave us again and that it will be
a waste of time.
Mr. Jump believes in moving
forward and leaving the past in
the past. Mr. Rasulis is willing
to go back to his old position if
Ms. Shelly happens to come
back. I personally think it is a
good idea for Ms. Shelly to re-
turn back to West High.
One student said, “I’m really
disappointed that Ms. Shelly
can’t return. Even though she
was tough, she was very re-
spectful of me. She gave me
tough love.”
Mr. Rasulis doesn’t want to
step on anyone’s toes. He really
respects Ms. Shelly.
“I actually learned a lot from
her to do this job,” he exclaims.
“I really enjoyed shadowing her
over the summer.”
Karima Scott, ‘20
Western Hills will now have a
new dress code for 2017-2018
school year; we no longer have to
wear red, white, or ma-
roon polo shits. We
will be able to wear any
kinds of jeans with any
color polo shirt .
Mr. Jump and some
staff said, “Kids wear
anything they want an-
yway, so why keep the
dress code if they don’t wear what
they are suppose to wear “ .
Lost of kids are very excited be-
cause they no longer have to wear
uniform . Molly Wilkins said, “I’m
so happy they took away some of
the dress code, but we can wear
any color polo shirts that we
want”.
Students never thought that Mr.
Jump will ever change the dress
code, and students tried asking be-
fore but he said no .
Mr. Jump also said, “I thought
very hard about this and it was a
very tough choice.” Most staff are
very mad about changing the dress
code because they feel like kids
will be coming to
school wearing inap-
propriate jeans .
Makayla Crocs said,
“I don’t think they
should have changed
the dress code; stu-
dents have so many
black pants, as well as
white, maroon, and red shirts”
Mr. Jump is still allowing stu-
dents to wear the West High
sweatshirts , but you can also wear
the college shirts and the spirit
wear on Mondays & Fridays.
Tisha Specks, the parent of Kyla
Specks, said, “I really like the idea
of changing the school uniform;
they should have been did this a
long time ago. If parents don’t
like this idea than there crazy.”
Uniform Change for 2017-2018

As of February 20, 2017 alcohol has been banned. Alcohol has been banned for everyone not just the underage. The government has decided to ban alcohol due to the rising effects of crime and a overload of violence.
In the summer of 2014 we seen over 55 percent of crimes as the result of drinking alcohol. Over three years we seen that the rate has only increased. We have more than 70 percent of alcohol related violence.
It’s not only the adults fault of this violence but in fact younger people at younger ages have been drinking alcohol illegally. More violence has been caused by the younger people. They have smaller bodies and they get drunk easily.
We have seen and heard more rob-beries, fights, shootings and overall the
death rate has risen.
Because of this, the government have banned alcohol forever. They have made it a permanent thing that cannot be undone. The government officials now be-lieve since their is no more alcohol the crime rates will decrease dramatically.
Anyone seen drinking or distributing alcohol will have life in prison. You will have broken the law tremendously. You are also not allowed to go to other coun-tries to drink alcohol. You must show other countries your id and by your American id no one will be distributing you alcohol at all. If you are seen drinking alcohol in other countries you will get a jail sentencing wherever you are and be placed in a state prison in the state you are from.
Do the crime and drink alcohol you will do the time. There will be a lifetime of jail if you do it so say no to alcohol and live a healthier life.
The Pool-Side Ghost Appears By Jordan Reed, ‘17 Here at West High we have many stories of ghost in this school but the most real one is the Poolside ghost boy. Legend has it that a 9th grader wanted to skip so he went to the Western Hills Pool area. Having found a spot to chill, he relaxed waiting for school to end. A sound made him jump up wondering who would be coming to the pool, and then he heard a whistle. Realizing it was a janitor, he looked around trying to find a place to hide. The footsteps were coming closer and his time was
running out so he ran towards the boys locker but everyone knows not to run around the pool. In a flash, he slipped crashing into the side of the pool knocking his head in the pro-cess. All the janitor heard was a splash so he went to in-vestigate think-ing it was one of those stupid kids that tried to skip. Walking in the janitor looked around the dark room shouting”
Hey, come on out !You're already caught GET BACK TO CLASS!”. Realizing that no one answered, the janitor walked to the pool only to gasp when he saw the body of the 9th grader sinking to the bottom. Quickly he grabbed his
walkie talkie called for
help then through his electronic down jumping into the pool. When he resurfaced he got the boy out
seeing the Principal, and many more staff. ”Hurry try and save him,” said a teacher and one of the security that know CPR tried to revive the boy but they were too late. The boy had drowned and now the pool is closed off, because may students claim to have see the haunting figure of the 9th grade boy floating above the water. For those who know the boys name rumor has it that if you walk around the area where the pool was three time calling his name. You may see the or be a victim of the Poolside Ghost.

No Seniors Expected to Graduate
Robert Henderson, ‘17
Is this a joke? Are you seri-
ous? Is this even legal? Word
around, Western Hills High
School Will Not Have Any
Graduates For The Year of
2017… This
is outra-
geous and
unaccepta-
ble. All of
west high
students
should be
ashamed of
themselves.
A bunch of
lazy bums.
On a serious
note how
could this
happen?
So all I
have been hearing all over the
west side of town is how par-
ents are furious and upset that
their child and/or children will
not be able to graduate. West
High is the black eye of the
West Side. The students have
lost it; senioritis must have hit
hard this year. All seniors
GPA’s are under a .1. The Apex
classes are full and no more stu-
dents will be accepted.
All year seniors have been
complaining about the senior
year. “Senioritis is really affect-
ing my life right now,” one sen-
ior says. “I
just don’t
want to be
here,” an-
other one
says. Every
senior at-
tendance
has went
down hill
since the
beginning
of their sen-
ior year.
Many sen-
iors have
missed 30
days plus.
“At this rate we will have at
least 300 seniors next year,”
Mr. Caproni said.
We will have to hire twice as
many senior teachers to help
these student earn their credits.
And they will not be able to
pass with Apex.

West High is moving to a new lo-
cation! We are moving to Kentucky.
The main reason we are moving is
because of the bedbug and rat issue.
Western Hills will no longer be a
Cincinnati Public School. Some stu-
dents are very happy and some are
very mad because they know the
school so well . Mr. Jump said, “I’m
very sad to leave this building, but
It’s for the best.”
The move will happen this summer
they will be tearing the school down
and building new mall for the West
Side of Cincinnati.
Kia Stewart, ninth grader, said,
“I’ve been here since 7th grade, and
I’m very upset that I’m not going to
spend my Senior year here at West
High, but I really do hope the Ken-
tucky students treat Mr.Jump right.”
Most staff are going to be teach-
ing at the new school and some are
leaving . Parents think that the move
is stupid and that we
should stay in the location we are
currently in .
In the new school it’s going to
have a new pool, a golf course, big-
ger football field and a building just
for basketball.
Students currently at West High do
not have to enroll in the school be-
cause they will automatically be ad-
mitted. There will also be transpor-
tation from Price Hill, Westwood,
and Covedale to the new school.
We hope students and family enjoy
the new and improved building!
To top it all off, there will be no
uniforms at the new location. Stu-
dents instead will be able to wear
whatever clothes they want, even
ripped jeans and hats.
“We want to make this more like a
college campus,” said Ms. Apple-
gate, assistant principle.
This will also be a draw for stu-
dents to continue to get their educa-
tion at the new West High location.
“We will also offer college courses
that can be applied to both UC and
NKU,” said Mr. Jump.

Before I tell you fellow readers
about Mr. Yisrael’s plastic surgery,
you would have to know what plastic
surgery is and
what types are
there. Plastic sur-
gery is the process
of reconstructing
or repairing parts
of the body, espe-
cially by the trans-
fer of tissue, either
in the treatment of
injury or for cos-
metic reasons. The
top surgeries done
are: Fat Reduc-
tions, Body Lifts,
Face and Neck, last Male Specific.
Mr. Yisrael said “I'm tired of being
called milk dug head; I'm tired of my
coworkers, even my boss, butter neck-
ing me, and don't get me started with
the students.”
In the past Mr. Yisrael had said he
had a very big afro when he was
younger and when he started to go to
college he got a perm to look like Ea-
zy-E the rapper. During his last years
of college, he
started to lose his
hair to the point
he had a bald spot
so he got all his
hair shaved.
He said to me
“once I cut my
hair, it was hard
because I didn’t
feel like me; my
hair was my iden-
tity.” His co-worker and friend
Ms. Irby said, ”I
never laughed so
hard in all my life after seeing that he had
cut his hair; we took so many pictures we
have those pictures to this day”.
Mr. Yisrael also said that was not the
only reason for wanting to get air im-
plants he wanted to feel the way he felt
back when he had hair back when life was
simpler.

As I was reading the irritating head-
aching book of Macbeth, I heard a knock
at the door, so I ran down the stairs and
peeked out the window to darkness; there
was nothing there but streetlights and
cars, no children no adults not anything. I shut the door and ran upstairs with a frus-
trated look. I got a little irritated because I
thought kids were playing on my door in the
middle of the night again. As I lay back
down in my bed, I heard another knock.
I got angry I stumped down the stairs this
time furious I screamed at the top of my
lungs “who is it?”....no one answered. I
looked through the peephole to see who its
was. I saw no one.
As I opened the door, a man jumped out
from behind my bushes and said “Ayo
thee cry of a distance crave the crying
man.” I looked at him crazy and curious.
He had on a full blown jumper, he had on
some type of long shirt, with a haircut
where he had hair on both sides of his
head and in the back, but none in the
front; he had a moustache that looked
like he came from another time—his
whole look looked like he came from
1567.
He looked at me and said “shall thy
kingdom of mine be rewarded with a prin-
cess but with no lips of poison?”
I even got more aggravated I yelled with
more bass in my voice, “How can I help
you man I'm busy”? He looked at me with
a confusing look.
He looked at me than the book in my
hand and asked why I didn’t like the
book, he didn’t actually asked why I did-
n’t like the book he said it in a different
way but I understood.
He spoke in English this time “You
don’t get it because you are not trying to
get the book; you are reading, but you are
not really paying attention to the story.”
Once we read together, Shakespeare gave
me a better understanding of the book.
