sells for $7.6M
PROVIDENCE — A Watch Hill home, sold July 1 for $7.6 million, marks Rhode Island's secondpriciest residential sale of the year, according to Lila Delman Real Estate International. Newport’siconic Fairholme Estate closed for $16 million in February.
The turnofthecentury mansion at 9 Ninigret Ave., Westerly, once owned by Edward J. Breck, thefounder of the Breck Shampoo Co., was sold by Mark W. Izard of Avon, Connecticut, and ThomasIzard of Wethersford, Connecticut, as trustees of the Mark W. Izard 2015 Revocable Trust, toSteven and Theresa Levy of Wellesley, Massachusetts, trustees of the Steven Levy Living Trust.

The RPL sales team of Markham + DeRentis Associates were the listing agents for the seller, theMalcolm G. Chace Jr. Qualified Personal Residence Trust, while RPL sales associate Rebecca Mayerrepresented the buyer, Kathy M. Bourque.
According to current Statewide Multiple Listing Service data, this marks the fourth sale of over $1million on the East Side this year.

PROVIDENCE — A home at 228 Rumstick Road in Barrington was sold June 23 for $1.55 million,according to Residential Properties Ltd.
The listing agent was Lisa Schryver of RPL’s Barrington office, while Coleman Realtors representedthe buyers, identified in online deed records as Phillipe and Leigh Taylor Wells. The sellers areChristopher Gagliano and Pamela Robertson.
Located in the Rumstick Point neighborhood, the turnofthecentury home features sevenbedrooms and four and a half baths on a private, twoacre lot.

PROVIDENCE — Representatives of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors presented a medicaltransport vehicle to the Boys & Girls Club of Newport County recently at Camp Grosvenor inSaunderstown. The vehicle will be used to transport ill and injured campers on the camp's 95acresite.
