In 1982 two surfers, Patrick Leahy and Roger Liley created a unique, grass roots surfing company, WEST. Built

by people passionate about their products and committed to creating wetsuits known for their quality and fit.

Over the years WEST’S reputation for technically advanced, high quality wetsuits has become renowned

throughout the surfing world. This latest range of wetsuits is the culmination of almost three decades of

wetsuit manufacture using state of the art, environmentally sustainable materials including limestone based

neoprene, bamboo and recycled bottle fabrics. Confidence in the quality of our suits led West to become the

first wetsuit manufacturer to offer a lifetime warranty on stitching - a popular feature still offered today.

The West offers a genuinely environmentally

sustainable wetsuit. The neoprene is limestone-based,

the outer and inner fabrics are knitted with yarns

created from recycled water bottles and bamboo. These

fabrics are laminated with non solvent based adhesives

and printed with water based inks giving the Lotus Eco

authentically green credentials.

West’s Eco-lycra, derived from bamboo and recycled plastic bottles provides a superior

quality fabric while conserving the earth’s valuable resources. Quickly renewable bamboo

grows easily without the use of pesticides and fertilisers, the pulp is bleached without

chlorine and is easy to dye, lessening the environmental impact from clothing production.

This, combined with recycled plastic bottles brings a soft, durable fabric so you can

maximise your surfing time, while doing your bit for the planet.

2. Risk and Titlea) The risk in the goods supplied by the seller to the buyer shall pass to

! Goods supplied are held by the buyer as bailee to be sold by it as agent on behalf of the seller;

The buyer hereby irrevocably gives the seller, its agent and servants, leave and license without the necessity of giving and notice to enter on and into any premises occupied by the buyer or its directors or partners to search for or remove any goods supplied or in which the seller had ownership as for said without any way being liable to the buyer or any other person or company claiming through the buyer.

! In the event of resale by the buyer, the entire proceeds of the sale are to be held in trust for the seller and shall not be mingled with other monies or paid into any overdrawn bank account and shall be in all times identifiable as the seller’s funds This clause is intended to protect the seller in the event of the insolvency of or default in payment by the buyer.

3. Discountsa) Prompt payment discounts are available as follows: 5% - C.O.D., 3% -

7 days from date of invoice.

4. Cancellation of OrdersCancellation or amendments discounts are available as follows: 5% - C.O.D., 3% - 7 days from the date of invoice.

The warranty covers:

• Lifetime warranty on all stitching

• 12 month warranty on glueing, fluid seams and materials.

Warranty period commences from the date of original purchase.

The warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear, including scratches and fading.

• Damage caused by anything other than defects in materials or workmanship.

• Use in teaching, rental, commercial or instructional programs or activities.

• Damage caused by failure to follow the care instructions provided with this

product, including improper handling or storage and extended or excessive

exposure to sunlight.

• Wetsuits that have been sold as 2nd hand or have been sold as a 2nd (as it

has been sold as a product with existing defects).

• Wetsuits repaired by other repair service.

Using the warranty

There are 2 ways you can use your warranty:

1. Return to your local West Wetsuit dealer. Make sure you take your proof of

purchase (receipt or invoice) with you and they'll send your suit to West on your behalf.

2. Return it to West - Post it back to West, along with proof of purchase (receipt or

invoice). Your wetsuit will be returned to you as soon as possible, free of charge (if

* To ensure you're covered by this lifetime warranty, be sure to keep your proof of

purchase in a safe place.
