1. HOW DO YOU INTEGRATE TECHNOLOGY WITH CURRICULUM- Have IT Co-coordinators. All teachers have to have blogs and continuously update the same mentioning their plan for the day or week as applicable. Resources used and dissemination of the topic.
3. TEACHERS ASSESMENTS – Are all through surveys of teacher blogs and parents feedbacks. Continuous development. SUCCESS RATIOS – most satisfying! Constant updating through the INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE RESOURCE NETWORK
2. INVOLVEMENT OF PARENTS IN THE CHILDS DAILY ROUTINE @ SCHOOL – The children carry their tablets home. They have their individual blogs and Learning Logs which are checked every two weeks. They do all their assignments and are graded and parents may also post comments on these blogs. IT IS A GREEN SCHOOL WITH MINIMAL USE OF PAPER TECH

Surveys by students of teachers
Surveys by teachers of students
Curriculum is documented in tablets hence books are rarely used as resource.
Transparency through documentations of works of teachers and students.
Assessing use of skills and not content – Science and Maths
Unplugged – American School Mumbai which is perhaps the most innovative school of the IB Programme

• Greg Losch: 10 year old – feel super
important when teachers give me a
good grade on my homework and
my mum posts on my projects!
SaugataMittra
Graduated 12th grade
and off to Warrick
in UK for PPE. "Using computers at school also meant that I was much more organized with my files and assignments. Overall, technology was very beneficial to my learning but some of my colleagues felt differently, stating that they work better on paper. "
• Jose Cil : 10 year old – love working on computers!

MUMS
MONA MITRA – "From a parents
point of view, Yes, knowledge is
unlimited as the information is endless and
technology is the truth of tomorrow
for today's generation."
MONITA SINGH-We as parents and educators have to remember that
we are living in their world and their world is all about technology
and connectivity. We cannot sit back and lament about how our
way of learning was better because we had books and desks. Change is always difficult and it makes our job as parents more
difficult to monitor our kids but we have to accept the change and
learn to keep pace with them and their world.
CHANTAL HACKETT – I keep up with my sons activities in school and
gives me intense satisfaction to see him immersed in academia as well as
sport..Technologies need to be monitored a bit but overall its an absolute essential for future
generations.
S. VIESSMANN - Through the proliferation of the Internet
and ever more technological advances education as a field stands on the cusp of a new
era.
THE FUTURE WORLD FOR KIDS – THEIR
WORLD – WE ADAPT AS PARENTS
ANJU VISEN SINGH : DIRECTOR EDUCATION MARKETING : SMART TECHNOLOGIES
1. What's the global scene with technology inclusion in school we have seen rapid technology adoption in schools around the world over the past 10 years. Some countries, namely the UK, Canada, US, Germany and Spain have gone a lot faster than the others, but we see momentum everywhere.
ANJU VISEN SINGH2. The Indian overview? We are seeing rapid adoption of technology in private schools in India. The government has announced intent for technology adoption in government schools, but private schools are progressing more rapidly. However, as in the case of any drive towards use of technology in education, it is important to start with a vision, followed by a plan that address the right selection of technology products that will enable the realization of the vision (products should be chosen based on proven results and their ability to integrate with other products in the classroom), digital content for teaching and learning and ongoing teacher professional development

PHENOMENON
THE INDIAN OVERVIEW AND SCENARIO – DYNAMICS AND TACTICAL APPROACH-TO TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION IN SECONDARY EDUCATION - THE FLIP SIDE
The two supreme bodies that frame the
Education Blueprint of the country– the CBSE
or Central Board for Secondary Education
And the private CISCE or the Council for the
Indian School Certificate
Examination.
INTEGRATION OF TECHNOLOGIES – STEP BY STEP
THE CBSE BOARD – AN INTERFACE WITH THE CHAIRMAN MR VINEET JOSHI (IAS)-
AN OVERVIEW
• In order to ensure all CBSE affiliated schools get pro-active in technology integration in schools all such schools must have at least one Smart Class – it is mandatory
• Applicable to both government and private schools• All applications for Higher Education are now online ONLY. No paper
applications.• Where computers not available centres are set up for applicants to
apply• OLABS or Online Labs for Maths and Science• Encouraged use of free software – open source to minimize
monopolies by companies.• Promotion of generic low cost devices with good content resource
repository• Encouraging 1 computer per 2 children • However this technology integration is urban centric and a long way
to go before the entire nation including rural schools are completely integrated
• Mr Joshi was most positive in his approach and did believe we are well towards a technology interface in all schools with technology.
Mr. Vineet Joshi

THE CISCE BOARD – AN INTERFACE WITH THE DEPUTY SECRETARY MRS POONAM SODHI
– A REALISTIC APPROACH
• Inclusion of transaction of Accountancy software Project. Graded Learning at ICSE/ISC. Experiment in 2014 wherein option between Computerised Accounts and Managerial Accounts.
• The Council works on advice of various IIT’s• However there are implementation issues at the urban or
semi urban level which include Linkages for Net. Socio Economic backgrounds. Financial resources are a factor in technologies.
• Technology infusion needs to be affordable• Should be graded step by step• Student Teacher ratios being a big concern.• Resource pool of teachers widely technologically
compromised. Low income-high aspirations.• Range of schools on a wide spectrum from top of the
line schools to those working with the Least Common Denominator.
• Long way to go but the start has happened.

• Being the most populous state of the country largely agricultural education is perhaps the most attention needing sector
• Government is trying its level best to increase its attention through various programs like the SarvShikshAbhyan, RashtriyaMadhyamikShikshaAbhiyaan

• TO BRING INTERNET CONNECTIVITY TO THE DOORSTEPS ACROSS THE STATE
• Recently concluded Planning Commission Meeting on 20th July 2012 presided by our dynamic honorable Chief Minister Mr. AkhileshYadavput forward all of the above
• LUCKNOW soon becoming the educational hub of the State as Schools and Colleges imparting quality education
• Dynamics most complicated but schools doing their bit with techno-inclusion/smart classes/teacher training/ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning or computerized automation of records)
KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT
THROUGH INNOVATION
SOLUTIONS AND IDEAS FOR DYNAMIC GROWTH OF SCHOOLS TOWARDS A TECHNO
FRIENDLY FUTURE FOR THE MASSES.
• From acquisition of knowledge to knowledge management. • From the 3 Rs to multiple intelligences• Curriculum Revision for Integration Technologies is a must.• From a single career focus to a flexible multi career
approach.• From informing the mind to forming the mind. • From conventional to convergence technologies. • Innovative teaching methodologies and techniques. • Effective written and spoken communication skills. • Democratisation of education to include the constructive
and facilitative involvement of all the stake – holders: students, parents, teachers, management and community at large.
