“Calgary is a community that we all share and contribute to in a diverse number of ways. This year’s parade is a representation of the many forms in which people are brought together to build a stronger Calgary, Alberta and Canada”.

What if we have previously contacted the

committee about participation? What should we do? The Parade Committee will be working to contact

you with this information or feel free to contact us.

How many entries do you accept? In recent years the committee has received in

excess of 250+ applications, of those there are approximately 100 that are conditionally accepted into the Parade.

What if we have already submitted our

application? The coordinator responsible for the section you

applied for will be in contact with you.

How long is the Parade? The Parade running time is approximately 1

hour and 45 minutes.

Our group has been in the Parade for many

years. Do we still need to apply? Yes. Each Parade year, every entry has an equal

opportunity for success in participating in the Parade. Our goal is to showcase the best entries. Like any parade year this year may include entries that have participated in the past and those that are new.

How are entries selected each year?

Entries are selected during a committee process by which we review all applications and select the best from each category as indicated on your application.

When is the application deadline? Friday March 16, 2012 at 4:00PM.

When will I know if I am successful in the application? All applicants will be informed of the status of their

application no later than April 15, 2012.

What if my application is late?

Late or incomplete entries will not be considered for acceptance.

How can I apply? Please visit our website at

www.calgarystampedeparade.com and click on the Parade Entrants and Application Process. There are two ways to apply, you may complete our online application or download a copy and send it to us (must received by Stampede Head Quarters prior to deadline March 16 @ 4:00 pm).
