2000: Welspun creates international facility in New York

2001: Pipe coating at Dahej, Gujarat, in a joint venture with Eupec Coatings GmbH,

2005: Home textiles and pipes expansion projects in Anjar, Gujarat, to emerge as the

2010: - Welspun Energy is born with Solar & Thermal Energy foray.

- Entry into infrastructure - Acquisition of MSK Projects India Ltd. (Welspun Projects Ltd.)

- Name Change of Welspun Gujarat Stahl Rohren Ltd. to Welspun Corp Ltd.

- Majority stake in Aziz European Spiral Pipe factory in Saudi Arabia.

- Commissioned Spiral facility at Mandya, Karnataka.

2011: - Acquired 35% stake in Leighton Contractors (India) Pvt Ltd. (Leighton Welspun Contractors Pvt Ltd.)

- Apollo invested USD 320 mn in the Welspun Group.

- Commissioned new LSAW plant in Anjar, with capacity of 350,000 MTPA.

2012: - Set up ERW mill in Little Rock, USA with capacity of 175,000 MTPA.

hydro, biomass and wind energy power generating facilities.

One of India’s largest clean energy developers: Renewable energy portfolio of nearly 325

MW of Solar PV and 20MW of Wind project

Largest solar power developer in India: ~ 309 MW of Solar projects and 20 MW of Wind

projects operational.

In Implementation Stage : 155 MW of Solar and 126 MW of Wind

Welspun adopts the most environment friendly production processes, water effluent

systems, waste disposal mechanisms and strictly follows water harvesting measures at all

Each production center is equipped with a 24 hour medical facility for health hazards.

Welspun City, a 2500 acre township at Anjar, is a prime example of continuous efforts to

protect the environment with a strong emphasis on afforestation. The City is in the process

of creating a green belt, which once completed, will have over 500,000 trees.
