Please contact [email protected] or [email protected] for more information on school site Wellness Committee meetings and monthly PVUSD District Wellness Committee meetings. - Kaiser grant helping to support site-based wellness committees - FoodCorps and LifeLab providing garden and nutrition education - Afterschool programs, such as Fitness for Life, supporting nutrition education - Second Harvest Food Bank providing fresh produce and nutrition education for families - Locally grown food and seasonal produce on school menus - District safety committee supporting site improvements of 5th graders in Santa Cruz County were over a healthy Body Mass Index 39% (data collected in 2013 from the California DoE's physical fitness test) What is in the Wellness Policy?
