Behaviour and Class Rules

• Golden rules.• Class charter, which is agreed and signed by

the children.• Goldentime is earned as a whole class.

Goldentime reward is agreed on at the beginning of the week.

• Visual reminders, pegs are moved as an indication of individual behaviour.

• Clear sanctions and rewards. • Whole school approach.

Homework and Spellings

• Spellings have been given out to the children and are kept in their spelling folders.

• They go out on a Monday and are tested the following Monday.

• Sets could change in the following weeks.• One piece of Literacy and one piece of Maths

homework a week. Homework goes out on a Wednesday and is returned on a Monday.

• Children should spend no longer than half an hour on each piece.

PE and Swimming• Outdoor PE is on a Wednesday. Children will

need suitable kit and trainers.• All jewellery must be taken off. Earrings out if

possible. No earrings for swimming.• Swimming is on a Thursday afternoon. • We need volunteers to help with swimming, if

you could help please see me afterwards. Thank you!

• After half term, our swimming session becomes indoor PE.
