Camp Kawartha offers groups two distinct rental locations:• The Camp Kawartha Outdoor Education Centre (near Lakefield) for overnight or day bookings• The Environment Centre (in Peterborough) for smaller day groups (see the inside back cover for more information on this location)

Established in 1921, we are an award-winning, not-for-profit, charitable organization dedicated to quality year-round outdoor environmental and leadership opportunities for children and adults. Our mission is to develop positive stewards of our natural and human communities.

Sustainable Vision

The facility is available for rentals September to June. 2 nights packages are most popular but shorter or longer stays are easily accommodated.

Our state-of-the-art kitchen and experienced cooks source locally grown and seasonally produced ingredients for healthy and homemade meals.

Our kitchen staff are well equipped to accommodate food allergies and sensitivities with delicious options. We are a nut safe facility which means all ingredients and kitchen equipment have not come in contact with products containing nuts.

For Day Bookings in Peterborough Located on more than 200 acres on Trent University’s stunning wildlife sanctuary lands, this unique 2,000 square foot green building is open year round and can accommodate up to 70 people at any one time.

The Environment Centre is available for full day, half day or evening bookings.
