SUNDAYS AT UABCBREAKFAST is served in the Fellowship Hall from 8:30 AM-9:05 AM each Sunday morning.

NURSERY & PRESCHOOL CARE is provided for children, birth through Kindergarten, during the worship service in the Koon Mission Building (Nursery: Room 4, Toddler: Room 3, and Preschool & Kindergarten: Room 2).

1ST-6TH GRADE STUDENTS will remain in the entire worship service this month. Yellow kids' pouches and engagement sheets are available on the entryway table.

BIBLE STUDY GROUPS for all ages will meet from 10:45 AM-11:45 AM on Sundays. Bible study group guides can be found in each chair pocket. Adult Bible study groups will not meet on May 19, due to the Members' Meeting. Adult Bible study groups will meet together in the church worship center during June and July.

FELLOWSHIP LUNCH will be held on May 5 & 19 in the Fellowship Hall at 12 PM. You are invited to join us for this special time together.

UABC'S SUMMER MISSIONARIES

UPCOMING EVENTS & MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIESA.S.K. PRAYER GROUP meets each Monday at 6:15 PM in the sanctuary. All are welcome. This gathering includes a special time of singing and praying together.

YOUTH WORSHIP NIGHT will be held on Friday, May 10, at 6 PM at Olivet. We will have another youth night on Friday, May 31, at 6 PM. Contact Brent for more information.

I.H.S. DINNER FOR THE HOMELESS is on the second Monday of each month at 350 Sumner Street. Join us this month on Monday, May 13, at 5:30 PM. If you are interested in helping, please sign up on the lanai.

MEMBERS' MEETING is on Sunday, May 19, after the worship service. We will not have youth or adult Sunday School classes on this day.

JOY GROUP will meet on Friday, May 24, at 10 AM for lunch and to make Memorial Day lei for veterans. If you would like to attend, please sign up on the lanai, in your Bible study class, or online.

MENS' BREAKFAST will be held on Saturday, May 25, from 8 AM-9 AM at the Oahu Avenue parsonage (3407 Oahu Avenue). Breakfast will be provided. Men are encouraged to stay after the breakfast to help with the church work day projects on the parsonage property.

CHURCH WORK DAY will be held on Saturday, May 25, from 9 AM-11:30 AM. Come and help spruce up the Oahu Avenue parsonage (3407 Oahu Avenue). Please bring work gloves, if you have them. Lunch will be provided. If you are available to help, please sign up on the lanai table so we can better plan the projects and lunch.

CHURCH FAMILY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND POTLUCK AND POOL PARTY will be held at the Walsh/Williaford home in Kailua on Sunday, May 26, from 3 PM-7 PM. Bring your swim stuff and food to share! We hope you will join us for this special time together.

WEEKDAY PRESCHOOL GRADUATION & FUN FAIR is on Friday, May 30, at 4 PM. A dinner will follow the program at 5 PM.

WEEKDAY PRESCHOOL MINISTRY ALOHA CELEBRATION will be held on Sunday, June 2, during the worship service and fellowship lunch. We hope you will join us as we recognize current and former weekday preschool students/staff and celebrate the many ways God has used the weekday preschool ministry over the past 70 years.

MINUTE WITH GOD CHALLENGEJoin others in our church family in spending 1 minute with God each day during the month of May. You may choose to do this challenge alone or with others in your household. If you live with other family members, we encourage you to spend a minute with God together each day. Minute With God resource guides are available on the lanai table. The guide can also be viewed online at universityavenuebaptist.org/minute. This guide includes 1 verse, 1 question, and 1 prayer for each day during the month of May. SUMMER BOOK CLUBLadies are invited to join our summer book club! The book club will meet on Saturdays, June 22 and July 20, from 9 AM-10:30 AM at Dani Beth's house. Our June book club selection is The Return of the Prodigal Son: A Story of Homecoming by Henri Nouwen. If you would like to order a book for the book club, please sign up on the lanai table. Items provided can either be borrowed and given back to you or donated to the International Ministries' Big Giveaway for international students after the summer.

CHURCH ESSENTIALSAdult Bible study groups will meet together during June and July for a special summer session on many of the

essentials of a healthy church. UABC deacons will be leading a joint Bible study time for adults on Sundays from June 2-July 28 in the worship center. We hope you will join us as we study about and discuss evangelism, fellowship, discipleship & accountability, ministry, worship, prayer, mission, membership, and giving.

GIRLS' MINISTRY NIGHTA special gathering for girls who have completed grades 4-8 will be held on Monday nights this summer, starting June 10. We will meet from 6:30 PM-8:30 PM. This gathering will include Bible studies for 4-5th grade and 6-8th grade.

MOMS' GROUP MEET UPMoms and their kids are invited to a special meet up each Tuesday this summer, from June 11-July 23, from 9:30 AM-11 AM in the Koon Mission Building. Kids (ages 2-11) will enjoy crafts, games, and a short Bible lesson while moms spend time enjoying coffee/tea and conversation. Older children/teenagers are invited to serve as junior leaders in the kids' area. We hope you will add this special event to your summer calendar, tell your friends, and join us!

COLLEGE SMALL GROUPOur college small group summer session will begin on Wednesday, June 12, at 7 PM. This group will meet at Dani Beth's house on June 12 & 19, and will meet at the Palicte's home the following weeks.

YOUTH NIGHTYouth Night will be held on each Friday, beginning May 31. This gathering, for 7-12th graders, will be different each week this summer. Teens are welcome to invite their friends to join in on the fun! For more information, contact Brent.
