HAIR must be clean and neatly groomed. Only natural hair colors are acceptable. Hairstyles that are distracting are not acceptable. EXAMPLE: Students may not dye hair red, blue, green, pink or any unnatural hair colors, any multi-colored hair or dipped tips, ect. Distracting hairstyles, such as faux hawks, mohawks, shaved patterns are not acceptable
EARRINGS may be worn only in the ears. No other visible pierced jewelry/decoration is allowed. This includes ear gauges, plugs, or flesh tunnels, ect. Earrings/jewelry may not be noisy or distracting. Visible tape or other coverings may not be worn over prohibited jewelry; the jewelry must be removed.
Visible tattoos are prohibited.
Clothing may not have holes; clothing may not be torn, cut, or frayed.
Shirts with split sides, crop tops, tank tops, and clothing with spaghetti straps are prohibited. Shoulders straps on shires and blouse should be at least 3 inches in width. This is about the width of 4 fingers.
Shirts and T-shirts are to be worn appropriately as defined by the campus. Shirts and T-shirts that fall longer than the bottom of a child’s seat should
be tucked in, regardless of the number of shirts worn.
The torso of the body must be covered at all times.
Proper undergarments must be worn at all times, but should not be visible.Pant legs must not drag the ground.
The waistband for pants, shorts, skirts, and shorts must be worn at or above the top of the hipbone.
Oversized/baggy clothing is prohibited. All clothing/outerwear must be of appropriate and acceptable size and length.
Spandex shorts, skirts, pants, or other skin-tight lower body coverings (including leggings) as outer garments are prohibited. Cut-offs are prohibited.
Additional examples of what not to wear.
Dresses, skirts, shorts and skorts must be of modest length, no shorter than the fingertips with arms and hands extended down the sides. Any slits in skirts or shorts may not extend up past the fingertips.
Shoes must be worn. House shoes and steel-toed boots or shoes are prohibited. Appropriate athletic shoes should be worn during physical education activities.
Bandanas may not be worn or carried on campus.
Transparent clothing and extremely faddish attire are prohibited.
Chains as part of a wallet or watch or as visible part of any clothing are prohibited.
Caps or other headgear may not be worn on campus during school hours. Headgear must stay in student lockers during the school day.
Clothing and/or accessories that are gang-related are prohibited.
Clothing and/or accessories that advertise or suggest profanity, alcoholic beverages, tobacco, drugs, or violence are prohibited.
Clothing and/or accessories that contain sexually explicit or suggestive pictures or statements are prohibited.
If the principal or designee determines that the student’s grooming or clothing
violates the school’s dress code, the student will be given an opportunity to correct the problem at school. If not
corrected the student will be assigned to in-school suspension for the
remainder of the day, until the problem is corrected, or until a parent brings an acceptable change of clothing to the
school.Repeat offenses may result in more
serious disciplinary action in accordance with the Student Code of
Conduct.

know if your student will miss school.

accepted the 1st week of school and 1st week of second semester.
• Course change request form must be completed and can be obtained in the office

Success Strategies• Lockers• Backpacks must stay in the student lockers during
the day• Organization• Zip binder or Accordion Folder • Teachers will help organize
• Review student’s agenda at least weekly if not daily• Refer to class syllabi and keep for reference• Math homework EVERY night Monday-Thursday• Reading homework two times a week• Read 20 minutes everyday
• Ask to SEE homework each night• Pack backpack/binder in the evening before going
to bed
