In 1977 Jost Bäumer laid the foundation for the today world-wide successful B&B Verpackungstechnik GmbH by foun-ding a design office for mechanical engineering. In addition to design services, his own ideas were soon implemented. Under the name B&B the specialization in the develop-ment and construction of bag making machines followed. By aquiring MAF Verpackungstechnik GmbH in 2004, the portfolio of the company was extended into the field of se-condary packaging machinery.

THINKGREENProcessing of innovative

monomaterials to produce recyclable packaging

THINKGREENA very good and environ-

mentally friendly alternative is packaging made from recyc-

led paper.

THINKGREENThe stretch packers use

up to 80% less film compared to conventional

shrink film packaging.

During the development of the machines, B&B always makes sure to use the most

modern and efficient components in order to reduce the consumption of energy and

consumables to minimum.

Ecology and sustainability have been the buzzwords in the packaging industry in recent years. Climate protec-tion is an ongoing issue in society and the media, as well as a driver of innovation in the industry.B&B has always been and will continue to be a pioneer in this field. Be it the development of a bag machine for processing recyclable mono-PE composites more than 20 years ago or the market introduction of stretch ban-ding to eliminate shrink tunnels in secondary packaging applications. We are proud to have supplied a stand-up pouch ma-chine for the production of the pouch that won the Ger-man environmental award.
