Why Cybersecurity
Ever since the advent of digital age, technology has grown at a rapid speed with IT permeating into every sphere of life. However, this has given rise to an ever evolving class of cyberthreats, affecting individuals and enterprises. The effects of this new adversity have prominently come to light in the last few years, accounting for cumulative losses of billions of dollars across enterprises. Given the co n t i n u o u s a d va n ce m e n t i n co n n e c te d technologies, coping with and being resilient against cyberattacks are among the top priorities of modern organisations.
As an Academia Partner, KPMG in India will provide the training services including preparing course structure, develop / procure course content, make suitable faculties available for delivering training to participants and provide study material and text books for 3 modules in the program worth 135+ hours of training and 40+ hours of project mentorship.
The program will be delivered through a blended mode, consisting of online and classroom learning. It would consist of a one-week rigorous training program per Trimester at the MIT-WPU Campus, Pune (i.e., three weeks of on-campus training), while the remaining curriculum would be delivered through an online mode.
Postgraduate Diploma in Cybersecurity (PGDCS) is an agile learning program of 11 months’ duration with KPMG in India as an Academia Partner. Eminent cybersecurity practitioners of KPMG in India will leverage their experiential learnings to add value to the program.

The objective of this initiative is to build a strong collaboration between university and industry partners. CIAP believes that the collaboration between industry and academia is fundamental in catalysing the innovation and growth in technology. While industry partners quite often focus on providing solutions that have greater impact on businesses, educational institutions focus on building new knowledge through research and imparting education to students which make them
ready to serve those industry needs. CIAP as a catalyst plays an important role in creating more and more opportunities and make student equip with the skills that are needed to be served.
The key functions like Industry Partnerships, Career Services, Internships and Alumni Engagement are forefront in serving the ongoing needs of our students and alumni. These functions not only engage the students in improving their skills through the structured assessments, training and grooming activities, they also help students gain the strength to get best of the job opportunities by collaborating world class employers.
