What is the Right to Representation? You always have someone available to
help you when needed, and a contract which provides basic employment rights.
When in doubt, contact your building Senator or BAR for assistance. They can even attend meetings with you and your supervisor!

How do I Join?
It’s simple!We will walk you through filling out the
membership form at your table in just a few moments. Your building Senator or BAR will help!!

What if I don’t want to join?
People who don’t join the SCEA participate in “Fair-Share”
“Fair share” participants do NOT have the right to vote. This means that they CANNOT vote on our contract.
The price difference is $30 less than a full SCEA membership
How do I pay my dues?
Payroll deduction is the simplest way to pay your dues
If you are a full-time member, you will pay approximately $36.85 per paycheck, from October to July
If you prefer, can pay in full by check by Sept. 8th
It makes sense to join!
You have a voice as a member!
You can vote on our contract!
You can hold an elected position!
