Library Closure April 8 through April 15

for Remodeling

During this week, we will be updating

spaces for children, teens and adults. Stop

by to see additional seating and study pods

for work and reading upstairs, a new space

just for ‘tweens in the Children’s area, and

a rearranged Teen Loft.

When we open our doors on April 16, we

hope you like what you see. Items in the

collection will also be shifted to allow more

study and social spaces; something Library

users have been asking for!

Creating art is not only fun, it builds shape

and color recognition, and it is one of the

ways young children build the fine motor

skills necessary to learn to write.

During this program, we’ll read a story and

then work on fun art projects! The use of

paint is likely, so come dressed to get a little

messy!
